THE ARTS AT MARKS GARAGE REVIEWS

A small but welcoming space in the heart of the community! There is a black box performance space and a local gallery in the foyer—this is a rare treat. Many substantial bars and restaurants nearby and plenty of very easy places to park—great for a family outing or a date night that will be way above the average. I highly recommend supporting this space and the people who give the arts a chance to thrive here in multiple disciplines.

What a neat little venue! The gallery showcases local artists and the exhibitions change frequently, and it seems like there's always a good show on. Improv, Shakespeare, Burlesque, and more. I think they also host private events.

Great location for local art and music. Support this non-profit and the amazing work they do to support our artist community.

WYLAND GALLERIES REVIEWS

My wife and I came in because there was a piece that caught our eye. Malou spoke to us about the artists and showed us the pieces we liked in the back room with the different lighting. We were impressed by how they looked in the various levels of light. Also, the time Malou took to show us the pieces. She mentioned that the artist that painted the pieces would be in that night and encouraged us to come in to meet him. We came back that night, but the pieces Walfrido painted were already sold. We still purchased a different piece and Walfrido took a picture with us and the piece we purchased. We will visit again the next time we are in town, but also look forward to checking out the local gallery in Vegas.

Had a great experience here with Evelyn! My wife and I were just on our honeymoon a few days ago and decided to walk in and take a look around, Evelyn saw us looking and showed us around and told us about the pieces they had on display. Couldn’t speak more highly of her, polite and knowledgeable. Thanks to her we were able to easily purchase two paintings and learn more about the pieces themselves. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Wyland Gallery is filled with the work of local artists in addition to Wyland. If you are looking for ocean themed art, this is the ideal place to shop.

NOHEA GALLERY REVIEWS

I love this gallery. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. Although it is on the smaller side, there is a vast amount of art from local artists. There’s everything from paintings to watercolor to ceramics. They have a rather large selection of woodworking bowls, and such. All types of different wood grains, most focused on the woods of Hawaii. There’s also jewelry as well. Pay a visit here you’ll be glad you did.

Such a beautiful gallery with something for everyone, including yourself! It is difficult to find a store that features local artists. Nohea Gallery embraces Hawaii's artistic community and offers a variety of elegantly crafted items. The staff are kind, knowledgable, and enormously helpful. My go-to shop in Honolulu! I love it and highly recommend it.
