HONOLULU DANCE STUDIO REVIEWS

My girls love dancing at HDS (Honolulu Dance Studio) and BDP (Boogie Down Productions). The directors and teachers are great, talented and fun. Both studios are close together so between the two, you can get most genres of dance. Lots of classes to choose from with a performing and competition team for both studios for all ages. There are many opportunities to dance while on the performing company, but even class takers can do their thing while dancing at Ward Warehouse and Àla Moana Shopping Center. Both are great studios to start and make a lifetime of great memories. Dancing here has been a blessing for my girls.

My daughter has been dancing at Honolulu Dance Studio for 5 years since she was 3 1/2 years old, and she has progressed substantially over the years. The studio is a place where she has made many friends and with the support and guidance of the instructors, it's her second family. HDS has a wide variety of dance so she's able to take ballet, jazz, hip hop, and technique classes. They have tumbling and hula as well.

Excellent studio! Good size space and a good variety of classes. The instructors and other dancers are welcoming and talented. They have become my second family and I'm excited for the years to come.

ALOHA DANCESPORT CENTER REVIEWS

uch a fun experience dancing at Aloha DanceSport last night, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025. The dancers were really nice and welcoming! The floor was great. The evening started with two classes: an hour long salsa class and an hour long Bachata class. There were a good amount of students in each of the three levels offered, Beginning, Int. and Advanced. I took the advanced classes and the instruction was lovely with great attention to detail and making sure that everyone in the class understood the combination. The studio is located on the 2nd floor. I arrived early and got a nice parking spot in front of the building but had to wait outside. This as great because I was able to meet some of the other dancers beforehand. I am a seasoned dancer, but I understand that trying out a new studio/dance scene can be daunting, but this experience was so great and I felt like I immediately made a bunch of new friends. Shout out to Melissa, Arvin, Andrew, Tony, Daniel and all of those other super fun leads I danced with! Thank you for being warm and friendly! I can't wait to come come back next time I am in town! If anyone is in the Denver/ Boulder area I hope to see you at the Avalon Thursday nights and Fiesta Latina First Fridays! Aloha!

As a dance instructor who has travelled internationally, one of my favorite things to do is find the best local dance studios for social dancing and for teaching. Aloha DanceSport stands out as they have brought in some incredibly talented teachers that offer dance almost every day of the week. Their studio is clean and floor is top quality. The AC is a big perk of dancing here as it doesn't get too hot even when it is packed. I recommend Catalina's batchata and salsa dance on Friday night and the Tuesday night instructing for batchata and salsa!

This is a top quality studio, I can't believe Hawaii has such a place! Lucas and Yanna are so talented and great teachers. We are lucky to have Aloha DanceSport!...

Director is beautiful inside and out. Kind, big heart, generous and bring in the best classical ballet teachers to teach all levels of dancers.
