Moving an extremely independent 90 year old into assisted living is never going to be easy but with the expert help of Arbor Village, we made it happen. After touring three assisted living properties in the Kent/Covington area, Arbor Village stood out for meeting our check listed items. 1) 24/7 nurses available; 2) some transportation provided; 3) front desk manned; 4) nutritious meals; 5) attention given to residents. My mom moved from a senior apartment building with no services, where she was invisible to management to Arbor Village where she is respected, cared for and the staff know her name. She is encouraged to participate in activities, which there are many each week and the daily schedule is posted all around the facility. The nursing staff is top notch and have cared well for my mom and her complicated medical needs. The facility director, Jennifer, has been extremely helpful. Their chef walks through the dining area during service and specifically checks on the residents and know their likes and dislikes. She ordered various kinds of tea and made them available to my mom.

My husband resides at Arbor Village and it is a wonderful experience for both of us. The staff treats him with a lot of love and affection and they treat me the same.
