3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Port St Lucie, FL

I looked at 12 facilities between Palm Beach County and Lucie County for my mom whom we were moving from NY to a living facility in Florida so that she could get the care she now needed at age 90. When I walked into Watercrest St. Lucie West it felt very different. The residents were smiling, happy and enjoying this beautiful facility and outdoor spaces. I spoke to several of the residents during my visit and asked how they liked it there and all their responses were similar “the staff and people are wonderful”. I met with Diann, the Community Relations Director, who was so warm and caring and introduced me to some of the staff and residents by name and I could sense the connection she had with the people there. It’s been almost 2 weeks now that we moved my mom to Watercrest and I can see the care they give her and to each of their residents and their families. I definitely feel like we found her a happy place to call home and I know she will get wonderful loving care from their entire team. Thank you Diann, Bobi, Michelle, Tom, Gilly, Connie and your entire team that help to make Watercrest this special place.

I am writing on behalf of the resident experience of Pat V Watercrest is not only one of the best choices for Independent Living in Port St Lucie but also a facility that should be a model for all organizations to strive for. From the very top of the management chain down to each individual person that works at this facility there is a very strong culture that is consistently displayed. Each employee is engaging and demonstrates caring and concerned treatment of every single resident. In a world where corporate entities care only about profitability and their bottom line, much to the detriment of their managers and employees, none of this is remotely evident in this facility. Pat was treated like family and found profound comfort in her last year at Watercrest. Her happiness and peace of mind was important to her family and those who loved her.

I had an opportunity to spend time this week with the leadership of this beautiful community. The love and care that is shown for the Residents, Families and Associates is on a whole other level! I highly recommend Watercrest St Lucie West! They are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience.

I have had the pleasure of taking care of patients at Harbor Place of Port Saint Lucie for the last 8 years. I see firsthand the heart and soul that is poured into every resident. I have had the honor of working with the best administration team, past and present. Not one day goes by without the nursing team updating me on residents, advocating for patients or coordinating care. That’s how I define a loving and caring facility, I highly recommend Harbor Place. I went to visit my uncle in assisted living today. I love this place (and so does he). The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door until I left. The resident care director, Angie) is very impressive, caring and kind. I am so happy he is here! This is a place I would go myself if I lived here! I have seen our community grow thru times of adversity. The years of covid when the uncertainty of what could happen to the return of freedom. I have spent the last 9 years serving and loving the people of Harbor Place. Our leadership team is bringing the sense pride in back to this place and that makes my heart happy. I have had the honor to serve and care for these precious senior souls, their families and the staff. Many have become dear friends.
