3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in San Francisco, CA

Sagebrook is a very nice and pleasant assisted living facility. The staff are very caring and attentive to my mother's needs which I really appreciate. Sagebrook offers many activities and special events to keep the residents engaged. The only minor issue is the quality/taste of the food (per my mother) which could be improved on. Overall I would give Sagebrook a 4-5 star rating.

We toured Sagebrook with my dad because we needed a place for him while his home is being renovated. My mother is in a Watermark property in Florida and has the highest praise for the company, so we welcomed her referral. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. This was the first place we looked and the last. They have everything he needs; they are very attentive, he loves the food and is looking forward to working in the garden! He has even made comments that he could stay here indefinitely. From a son's experience, I know my dad is in good hands and it made my leaving to go back to Florida much less stressful. It feels residential, a place for him to thrive!

Sagebrook is a wonderful place if you are considering a Senior facility for yourself or a loved one whether short or long term. Rooms and common areas are well maintained. The staff is amazing. They know all residents by name and unique situations. They maintain a positive, supportive approach and facilitate a host of activities. The meals are great with dietary variations available to address special needs. I would highly recommend Sagebrook.

My mother has been at Rhoda Goldman for about 7 years now, after we realized we could no longer care for her at home. The warmth, patience, and friendliness of the staff is remarkable. I don’t know where they find such a large staff of caring people. My mother is very comfortable there, is welcomed by everyone – even found a boyfriend! The administration goes out of their way to advise and guide the residents and families as needs change. The food is very good, the activities are varied and stimulating and there is a great library on every floor. The residents themselves are interesting and clearly appreciate the wide range of activities available for intellectual and cultural engagement, fitness classes various classes geared toward creativity, including wonderful concerts and talks. We feel incredibly lucky that our mother is there. I've not seen nor heard of an assisted living community that compares to Rhoda Goldman.

My father has been living at Rhoda Goldman Plaza for almost 2 years, and the experience has been wonderful. The staff-to-resident ratio is very high, and the staff are all well-trained, professional and very caring. Management has responded quickly to any additional requests for assistance. He feels safe, and we are comforted to know that he is well cared for.

Our father has transitioned from completely independent apartment living at RGP to assistance with daily activities. From all of the staff, he is receiving excellent care and sincere, compassionate caring. Frequent personal communication with us is also a huge comfort. As a family, we are so happy that our father is lucky enough to be part of the RGP family.
