We recently stayed at the Fairmont for a quick trip while passing through San Francisco, and I wish we could have stayed longer! This was my first time at this location and I fell in love. The property is gorgeous and our room was so comfortable, with possibly the best view of the bay I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We took our toddler downstairs to the Tonga Room and he had a blast tearing up the dance floor. I am counting the days till our next visit!

Stunning! Absolutely gorgeous during Christmas! The gigantic gingerbread house smells so good. The amazing lobby with the Christmas tree is decorated so elegantly. The restaurant and bar area are amazing and beautiful as well. We had the breakfast brunch. Everything was amazing. Definitely would do this again next year for a Christmas weekend.

San Francisco Marriott Marquis is an excellent hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco. There are many things to do in the nearby area, including Union Square and a variety of shopping options. Right across the street, you will find a Target, a movie theater, and several restaurants. The hotel itself is very modern, with plenty of amenities and dining options. When you walk in, you are greeted by a spacious and contemporary check-in area. The elevators can be a bit confusing at first because certain ones only go to specific floors, so be sure to pay attention to the signs. Once you arrive at your floor, you will find that the rooms are updated, very clean, and quite comfortable. I have stayed here twice, and both experiences were pleasant. The views of downtown are also impressive. If you are a Marriott Platinum member or higher, you have access to the M Club. It is not open 24 hours, but they post the operating hours, and you can enjoy a good selection of food and drinks in a comfortable setting outside of your room. Overall, I recommend the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. It offers a convenient downtown location, modern accommodations, and a pleasant stay for travelers.

I’ll most definitely stay here again! Even though they were on strike and had militant security everywhere it was a good weekend! The location was everything for us. We parked our car a couple blocks away (for cheaper parking) and never needed it again. Everything was short walking distance from the hotel. You won’t struggle finding good food in the area! Evening from cheap 24hr diners to upscale dining and everything in between.
