EL BOLILLO BAKERY REVIEWS
El Bolillo is the only bakery I need in my life. In fact, I did one of my final projects for my spanish class in college about the greatness of Kirk Michaels and his beautiful El Bolillo. Living as far as I do from it, though it is a treat to come here and enjoy in the fresh baked goodness. I love everything I buy here (there aren’t a ton of labels to tell you what the baked item is called or its ingredients, just fyi) and the prices are unbeatable. When I know I’m going to have a big family gathering I try to make it out here to stock up on all the sweet breads and cookies and THEIR TRES LECHES!!!! All my homies love El Bolillo.
It's definitely a place to grab delicious pan dulce "sweet bread." The aroma is so exquisite as soon as you hop off your vehicle. And when you open the door, a blast of sweet joy hits you straight in the face. Mouth watering goodness on every wall! They have all kinds of bread there. From regular conchas and marranitos. To bolillos and some others that I didn't even know of. Of course, corn tortillas, as well as flour tortillas. They also make special order cake for quinceañeras, weddings, anniversary, etc. If you haven't come on over, you won't know what you've been missing out.
Lots to pick from, cute themed cookies! They had emoji, Texans, Valentines, and more! Busy, but check out went really fast. All items purchased were fresh and delicious. Grab a tray and tonges and get picking from their great selection. The experience was awesome.

COMMON BOND CAFÉ & BAKERY-MONTROSE REVIEWS
One of the best bakeries of Houston (and there are very few). Everything is good, the pastries are great (I love the pistachio croissant even though for some reason I do not taste the pistachio but rather a frangipane. Maybe the nomination should be changed ? It is more of an almond croissant to me). Anyway everything is well made, reminds me a bit of France and I like it. Would go again.
I went there for brunch and I like this place. Exposed brick decor with downtown vibes. Plenty of seating options. They are known for their bakery but I had a hotplate full breakfast. The croissant pistachio wasn't to my likening.
The food is good quality. The Orange, Beet & Goat cheese salad & Nashville Hot Chicken Burger were AMAZING. We were in for the weekend and decided to stop here - we were not disapointed.

85°C BAKERY CAFE IN HOUSTON REVIEWS
This place is AWESOME! It has some of the best pastries, both savory and sweet, that you’ll ever enjoy. Everything is fresh and baked daily. If you’ve never been before, there are cafeteria trays near the entrance that you grab, then use to walk around and pick up different pasties, and finally pack at checkout. Everything is very well priced, around $3 per serving, and definitely worth for the quality. If you have to try one thing, make it the almond half moon cake, it’s my absolute favorite.
It was my first time here and I pleasantly enjoyed it! I usually don’t go to bakeries, but this one stuck out to me and I decided give it a try. I ordered the sugar cream cheese bread and the egg tart. The sugar cheese bread was great and it tasted like a sweet pretzel. The egg tart took some getting used to, it totally different from what I usually go for. With every bite of it the taste got better. The cashier was also really sweet!! Thank you.
I come to 85 occasionally and it never fails to satisfy me. I always get the sweets but I tried a spicy sausage today and it was amazing and I ordered a beautiful cake and for a good price it just sucks when it gets busy and there is no where to sit and wait for a table besides going to my car. The drinks are also pretty good id recommend this place to anyone.
