3 Best Chinese Restaurants in Houston, TX

I recently dined at Fung’s Kitchen in Houston, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The restaurant boasts an impressively large dining space, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our meal went smoothly. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly their "Lobster Mountain" dish, which consisted of six perfectly prepared lobsters. The presentation was stunning, and the flavors were out of this world. If you're a seafood lover, this is a must-try! In addition to the Lobster Mountain, the dim sum offerings were phenomenal. Each dish, from the shrimp dumplings to the pork buns, was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The variety available on the dim sum carts is extensive, offering something for everyone.

Real authentic Chinese food. What makes eating here on the weekend special, is having table side service. Servings carts with a variety of dishes - including dumplings, dum sum and shumai - are in constant rotation throughout the two main rooms. This is a perfect spot for large parties— you can get the entire group fed immediately. Plus, you can see exactly what you are getting.. You can eat immediately after being seated, or snack while perusing the extensive menu. You can also go to the second room (not sure if weekend only) and order items that are already cooked (an almost a buffet style). The stand outs for me were the calamari and the special pork. The calamari was cooked and seasoned perfectly with almost a tempura breading. The pork was fall apart tender. All the staff was so friendly. I also loved that they have two separate waiting rooms, so you do t have to stand in the entry way. Saturday at 12:45, our wait was 20 minutes. Pro-tip - go straight to the kiosk sign in.

This is my go-to Saturday pick up for dim-sum. I come and they already have my wine ready and know my order. This place is the best dim sum in Houston!
