We are in Texas fairly often and this bbq just surpassed many of our formerly “favorite” spots. *We had: pulled pork (!!!), brisket (succulent),chicken,sausage,ribs (wow) *Collards (very balanced flavoring!) ,the sweet& sour beans (still analyzing those!!) and the POUTINE! I really appreciate the flavoring in the sides,since many places seem to default to doing nothing more than pouring vinegar in everything. So impressed!

As soon as you open your car door you know you're in for a treat. Very friendly staff. Great menu. Food is fantastic. The spicy sauce is super spicy ... my only word of caution:) will definitely be back.

Love this place! I got the half pound brisket with fries. Sad they're not at Jax Beach anymore, but worth the drive to San Marco. Friendly service, too.

So good. The messy pig sandwich is delicious. The bread putting is amazing. The collards are the perfect blend of tart and cook level. Every time I've gone there I've tried something new. The staff is really on it and are happy to offer suggestions. They are fun and truly care about their customers. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing. My daughter got the chicken tenders with Mac n cheese, my son got brisket and I got brisket and burnt ends with baked beans and sweet potato. It was all so delicious and cooked very well. The bbq sauce was amazing also. We walked over for lunch from the hotel we were staying at and we were very pleased.

I always order the fried okra. It's crispy with a light dusting of cornmeal not a thick breading. The pulled pork and brisket is also delicious & my husband likes the turkey while my daughter likes the pulled chicken. It's all good! For dessert I love the bayou bar.

Had a great experience at Sonny’s BBQ! The food was delicious especially the mac and cheese, broccoli, and juicy smoked chicken. The cornbread was a perfect touch. Our server, Jacob, was awesome. He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He really made the dining experience enjoyable. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for some good BBQ and great service!

Addie was the best server! She was very attentive to our group and was able to accommodate every customization we needed. It was a little chilly when we walked in and she promptly helped our request to turn off the ceiling fan above our table. Food was top notch and came out timely and the perfect temp. We will definitely be back!

Alex is the best server of all time. Really, top notch. His customer service skills are out of this world. Finally a server with personality.. He puts the “Damn, Son!!!” in Sonny’s. 10/10 would recommend!! Gave great recommendations on menu choices and was very attentive.
