5TH ELEMENT TASTE OF INDIA REVIEWS

We visited 5th Element Taste of India earlier this month and the experience was just fabulous! The restaurant is well decorated and laid out, an inviting setting with with very nice atmosphere. We were greeted promptly and seated, with our waiter RK Naidu readily taking our drink orders from a great selection of beers, including my favorite King Fisher, and the lighter crisper Taj Mahal, favored by my wife. We ordered some of our favorite dishes and the appetizers, the naan and the entrees were all absolutely delicious! What stood out was the Baingan Bharta, a roasted eggplant dish that I love and have actually made myself. The 5th Element chef prepared it perfectly and it was a delightful accompaniment to the other dishes we ordered. Everything was perfect and RK was charming and very attentive waiting on our needs. I look forward to going back to 5th Element Taste of India and I am pleased to give the restaurant 5 enthusiastic stars. Well done!

We ordered two veg and one non-veg lunch specials to go from 5th Element Taste of India, and it was a great experience overall. The portion sizes were huge, especially for a lunch special. Each meal came with two curries, dal, naan, rice, a samosa, and gulab jamun. The food was packed well, stayed hot, and everything traveled nicely. Both the veg and non-veg curries were flavorful and well-spiced, and the naan was soft and fresh. Everything felt generous and satisfying, and the pricing was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Definitely a great value for Indian takeout in the Baymeadows/Jacksonville area—we’d happily order again.

5th Element is always a go-to for good Indian food. Tonight I had the goat masala, rice, and butter nan. So good! A friend’s lemon rice and chicken kebab got Dicson, our server, was so friendly.

Chicken briyani was awesome. The chicken was tender and well marinated with good amount of massala. I have ordered spicy briyani and it didn’t disappoint me. The spice level was spot on. The rice was cooked nicely with each grain separately rather then being mushy. Mirapakaya Kodi Vepudu, chicken appetizer had nice taste, with tender chicken and the spice level was good as ordered.

Always a fantastic dining experience here! The flavors strike the perfect balance—harmonious, bold, and never overwhelming. The staff is incredibly accommodating, happily tailoring everything to your needs and dietary preferences. Highly recommend!

If you are visiting Jacksonville, Fl please stop in to have some of the best Indian Cuisine. You will not be disappointed!! Food was hot, flavorful, and hefty! Definitely a must try!

MAA KITCHEN REVIEWS

Incredible Indian food, lovely atmosphere and great hospitality. This is one of the best of the Indian food restaurants in Jacksonville and I have always had great food either eat-in and take-out. Last night we ate in and we had the vegetable pakora, chicken saag, bagara baigan and Makahini chicken along with rice and garlic nan. Each dish was perfectly spiced and cooked to our heat preference. We also had a good bottle of reasonably priced Woodridge Pinot Noir with our meal. Service was friendly and helpful. We also love the robot server Valeri that ensures your food is hot and all served at one time. We look forward to returning to this great Indian restaurent.

We have eaten at Maa Kitchen a few times. The restaurant has consistently provided quality food. Spinach Dal is wonderful. The staff is courteous and really cared about my dining experience. Spice levels are easy to understand and can really take you to a new level.

Best overall Indian food in Jax, and believe me we will drive to another city for a good meal. Very authentic quality and good portions as well. Koti is very good with customers and they have recently added a cute robot to help with serving the dishes.
