LUM THAI RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Excellent food, with fast friendly service in a very warm and cozy atmosphere. I sat in the bar area which, as a solo diner was perfect. The wall and bar are paneled with bamboo and there are other cute decorative touches as well. The fried chive dumplings arrived to the table quickly and were steaming when cut open. Served with a sweet chili dipping sauce, they were rich and a little doughy which I enjoyed. Second, I ordered the grilled Thai river prawn which I highly enjoyed. Prepared over charcoal, it had that delicious touch of fire. The meat was succulent and the green dipping sauce was fresh, delicious and not overpowering. It was a perfect compliment to a very unique crustacean. For the entree, I ordered the crying tiger. The steak was cooked well although the cut was a little bit tough. The fried rice it sat on top of was wonderful and covered in crispy shallots which added a terrific bit of crunch. The dipping sauce here too was perfect. Sweet chili based with a touch of fish sauce which deepened the flavor in a truly memorable way. For dessert, I had the coconut ice cream which is served with something that resembles warm mochi. I’ve had mochi with ice cream before however, the warmth of this paired with the frozen ice cream was truly special.

Had lunch with friends on a visit to NYC and alum Lum Lum was suggested. Everything’s no was delicious. We had a variety of entrees at the table, including Gang Fak Tong (looked tasty but I can’t eat spicy foods), Chicken Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, which was my choice and truly delicious. The resonable prices are an added bonus.

The grilled shrimp was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The garlic rice with the Crying Tiger Steak was also amazing and paired perfectly with the steak. Everything we ordered was tasty, and I would definitely come back again!.

What an amazing experience at this restaurant. Highly recommend it to be honest. Had a very nice date night with my wife and food was just amazing. For appetiser we had summer spring rolls with peanut sauce. My goodness, the peanut sauce was just amazing loved every bit of it. For entrees we had pad Thai noodles with steamed tofu and glass noodles with fried tofu, I must say pad Thai was good but the glass noodles were spectacular had it for the first time it was amazing. I must thank our server CHELSEA she was amazing and sweet and recommended great stuff for us as vegetarians overall an amazing experience on the Memorial Day.

I had a great experience here with my girlfriend's family. We eat here pretty often when I come visit Jacksonville and the service is always great. We were assisted and sat right away by the hostess then our server quickly came by and took our orders when we were ready. The food came out fairly quick and tasted pretty good. Most of us had chosen the medium spicy level but some of us will definitely be going with mild next time as some dishes were a little spicier than we anticipated. Definitely come back for future visits.

Great Date night experience! Rangoons, Spring Rolls, Crispy Duck and dessert. Our server, Chelsea was awesome! Will be back soon!.

GREEN PAPAYA THAI CUISINE REVIEWS

My wife and I had dinner here after dropping our son at the airport. We had a chicken Tom Kha soup, a house special Pad Thai, and a chicken Green Curry. We shared our meals to enjoy them all. The soup was very good with just the right heat and cream from coconut milk. Very tasty! The Curry was spicy by itself but it's very good when eaten with the brown rice. The Pad Thai was very delicious! It had chicken, beef, and shrimp. The noodles were not soggy or oily. Every bite is full of flavor! Nice ambiance in the restaurant. I like that they already have the spoon and fork on the table. Real Asian touch! Will definitely come back here.

We ordered our food here for a “take out/ to go” after a long drive from NY. The ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Food has great servings and very delicious! Because we were so hungry, didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the food, but we ordered the Thai Special Fried Rice, Pan seared salmon, Roast Duck, Shumai, and Thai Iced Tea. Definitely recommend all of these food and this restaurant . My favorite is the Thai special fried rice- very tasty.

This place is an absolute gem in town! Every dish I’ve tried has been nothing short of extraordinary, bursting with flavor! And the service Impeccable every single time! It's always an amazing experience.
