3 Best Barbecue Restaurants in Toledo, OH

We ate here on a Saturday evening in early March. We almost left when we realized we were in line behind the Lourdes University mens baseball team! However, we waited and it was so worth it!! The line moved quickly and they did not run out of food! Lol! The food was fantastic and so delicious. Good job, City BBQ team!.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. You get an ample amount of pork and slaw. I also enjoyed the baked beans. I highly recommend City Barbecue!.

Service was great from the moment we sat down. Abbie was well versed on many of the menu items. She even suggested some appetizers and the chicken breast. The beef brisket dip and smoked sausage lollipops were a great way to kick off the meal. Abbie's suggested the lollipops, so glad she did! The St. Louis style ribs were fall off the bone. The choice of bbq sauces was ample. The trio choice meal was delicious brisket, tender juicy char grilled chicken breast, and pulled pork that was awesome. The meals came with 2 sides and cornbread. There is an amazing offering of various delicious meals from salads, sandwiches, pizza, BBQ, and more! Abbie was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable!.

We have been to Smokehouse 419 four times now. It is very easy to find & each time no wait to be seated. My husband enjoys ribs. So when I drove by, I added to a place to visit. We are both glad we did. The variety on the menu covers our favorites foods & meals. I have had the chicken salad, brisket sandwich, the 419 burger, and mostly recently the Smokehouse nachos with pulled pork. I wish I would have remembered to snap a picture at each visit. And we have had welcoming, excellent portions, fully cooked, and delicious experiences. My only tid bit have been the chips on my salad & nachos are not exactly my preference of thin flour tortilla fried - they are a little on the thick side. But they are not bad in anyway. My husband has had the ribs first. Once the plate was set in front of him, he prepared to pull the bone and it seemed to have the meet melt off the bone. And her really enjoy the sauce. (Same sauce on the brisket sandwich & nachos-sweet and perfect spices. Although, I do like a little heat added sometimes.) He's also has had the wings special with a limited special teriyaki sauce, a pepperoni pizza & a steak all have been very tasty.

The food was fantastic. The prices were pretty great. My son had the smokehouse burger and said it was greta. I had the cuban and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. We also tried the shredded chicken pizza, it was unbelievable. Definitely a must try.
