“Virginia's Daughter Bridal Boutique has a goal to help you find the gown that will make you feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day. The shop is approximately 25 to 30 miles from Hampton, VA. The boutique is owned by Allison, who has had a dream to own and operate a bridal boutique since graduating with a degree in fashion merchandising. As a personal stylist, she will always respect your style preferences and budget. The boutique invites you with a warm hug, intimate conversations, lots of laughter, and an experience of a lifetime. All of their sample gowns range in size 8 – 24. Most of their gowns can be ordered in sizes 0 – 32. When you purchase their floor sample, you will be charged an additional $150, and the dress will be in AS-IS condition. You are encouraged to bring no more than 5 guests to make your appointment special and intimate in their cozy private fitting areas. Each appointment lasts up to 1.5 hours of personalized time in a private fitting area. Their stylists are there to manual you in locating your dream dress by providing information on fit, fabrics, colors, and styles at the same time as constantly respecting your price range and opinions. Virginia's Daughter Bridal Boutique offers off-the-rack gown options and upcoming trunk show events, which may provide access to discounted dresses and exclusive designer collections.”

I walked into Michelle's shop on my daughter's prom day, feeling utterly discouraged and defeated. After spending a fortune on a custom dress that arrived with a hopelessly flawed corset, inaccurate measurements, overextended lining, and a zipper that was torn away from the fabric and would not zip. I thought the day was ruined. I found Michelle online and described my disposition. She was attentive and truly an angel. Despite the last-minute desperation, she welcomed me to bring the dress in immediately, assessed the dress at arrival, and meticulously fixed every single issue in just a few hours. Her dedication and expertise saved the day, and my daughter looked absolutely stunning. I am beyond grateful for Michelle's amazing work and compassion. Highly recommended.

Michelle literally made my vision come to life for my wedding dress. I wanted an entire top made for a dress I bought and it came out exactly how I wanted it to! I felt so pretty on my wedding day. She absolutely killed it! She was timely, professional and listened to exactly what I wanted. I have been recommending her to every bride I know.

Such a great experience working with McEllis bridal alterations! She had great communication and was able to remove a lot of material to hem the dress to my height. I am so happy I chose to work with her.

I had the best time at this cute local bridal shop. I never heard of it until one of my friends recommended it to me and all I can say is I was not disappointed one bit. From the day I booked my first appointment to when we departed, I felt welcomed. Every detail from the welcome sign in front of the store to my personal section in the area was completely customized for me. One of my bridesmaids that came with even called in advance to bring a bottle of champagne which made the entire experience a blast and memorable time. Virginia assisted me every step of the way and was so sweet. I can’t wait to come back and selected from the top 3 dress contenders! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a wedding dress.

I would rate this place and Madie my stylist a 20/10 if I could! I had the absolute greatest experience any bride to be could ever ask for. Me and my crew had such a fun time picking/trying on all the beautiful dresses this boutique had and madie made the experience truly special. So happy I said yes to the dress and can’t wait for my big day! I’ve also never have left a review before but I just had to let every bride to be know how amazing this place actually is.

I had had some awful experiences wedding dress shopping and felt super defeated before I went to Virginia’s Daughter. Virginia was so wonderful and kind and made the whole experience so wonderful. I left there having ordered my dress and feeling so happy and relieved! I recommend them to anyone looking for their dream dress.
