3 Best Hotels in Hampton, VA

Room was clean and exactly what I expected. What I did not expect was the exceptional customer service from every single employee during my 3 night stay. I was there may 12-15 and every single employee that I encountered made me feel welcome, from front desk to housekeeping to kitchen to maintenance. Housekeeping was attentive to my needs even though I was on the check out list that morning. When I told her I had decided to stay an extra day she ensured that my room wasn't disturbed. Booking the extra night was so easy and the young lady at the desk the morning of the 14th was so very pleasant. My encounters with Urielika and Lisa on Ray's shift were quite pleasant. And the woman at the desk each evening whose name I did not get was pleasant as well. Seeing the fantastic customer service that this hotel displayed was very refreshing!

Incredible hotel at a great price. The fitness center was good for its size. Breakfast was solid each morning, with quality staples like eggs and sausage, and fresh produce like apples and oranges. My only problem with this hotel, if you can call it that, is that Hampton is a lousy town with nothing to see in this location. Way too car-centric, so there's nothing to walk to, but there's also nothing to drive to besides the beach.

Nice spacious room. Weird design for the bathroom though because the toilet paper is a reach from the toilet. Extremely friendly staff. Nice small pool and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast area is comfortable. I love how you can sit by yourself away from everyone if you wanted. My stay was great. I regret not utilizing the gym because the equipment and huge mirrors were so tempting. I'd definitely stay at this particular location again. Parking was never an issue. I'd recommend this place for families for sure.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Hyatt Place Hampton Convention Center! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the friendly staff and modern, clean facilities. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the harbor. The bed was incredibly cozy - I slept like a dream! I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to the convention center and lots of great restaurants and shops. The pool and fitness center were also top-notch. I especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a long day of meetings. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Hyatt Place Hampton Convention Center and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I can't wait to come back!

I can’t say enough about the kindness and hospitality Brian showed my family and me during our stay at Hyatt Place Hampton. We were in town for a funeral and spent a few hours at the hotel bar afterward, where Brian went above and beyond—manning the bar, cooking, and serving us with genuine care. His warmth and friendliness put smiles on our faces during a difficult time, and we truly appreciated his service. Thank you, Brian, for making our stay a little brighter!

Very friendly and attentive staff! Everything is clean and the amenities are great. Location was perfect. Breakfast offered a nice variety. Will definitely stay again!
