BELLA'S CAFE REVIEWS
Bella’s Cafe is truly a hidden gem in New Haven. We weren’t expecting much when visiting from Boston for a wedding, but did want a solid breakfast and coffee before heading home. We were seated immediately and the wait for the food was minimal. We ordered lattes, the eggs Benedict, the wild mushroom omelet, and the Apple fritter French toast special. The food was plated beautifully and portions were generous.
The food here is absolutely delicious!! You have got to try the fried catfish over cheddar cheese grits! Their shrimp and grits...amazing!!
Bellas will always be my special place for breakfast. The menu is always so interesting. The combinations of flavors are always incredible!

ATTICUS BOOKSTORE CAFE REVIEWS
This was such a cute place!!!! The pastries were absolutely DELICIOUS. They tasted fresh and really really good. The staff there was super nice and helpful as well! I asked for book recommendations and the lady at the cashier helped me right away.
Nice bookstore with a small cafe located in the first floor of the Yale British Art Gallery. Their pastries are above the average cafe, I've tried the "nest" this time and it was a nice combination and not too sweet (but definitely too big).
Located right next to Yale campus. This was a lovely cafe and spent my afternoon here doing my work. I tried the vanilla iced latte which was delicious and strong too.

Cedarhurst Cafe is one of those perfect spots to spend hours on your laptop writing that great novel or taking just long enough to get relaxed during the work day and take a break. Cedarhurst Cafe opened in November 2013 and kept a lot of the existing items like smoothies, juices, and all coffees. They have a wide variety of both breakfast and lunch items including salads, sandwiches, wraps, Belgian waffles, bagels, muffins, and much more. They source a lot of ingredients locally and make sure that they get the freshest they can. They hope that will make you want to visit again and again. Take a moment to enjoy the art on the walls. They exhibit changes frequently, and there is always a waiting list of artists who have applied to show work.

I stopped in right before closing and the staff were so nice. They made a grilled cheese for my daughter despite being ready to close. The staff were all so friendly, food was delicious, and the cafe has a cute atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
First time in New Haven and stopped by to get some hot drinks. Owners are really nice and the cinnamon almond chocolate chip flat biscotti is a must-try! Highly recommend:)
