I had the steak with ribs – absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. The ribs were flavorful with a great BBQ glaze and fell right off the bone. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all, a great experience – I’ll definitely be coming back!

First time date with my boyfriend with a long trip. The service was excellent. They are friendly and have been trying to communicate with us since we are deaf. The food is Champion AF.

Always a pleasure dining here. Eva was awesome and did her job well. Hope she enjoyed the cake.

CAST IRON CHEF CHOP HOUSE & OYSTER BAR REVIEWS

I have now dined here many times and have always had delicious appetizers, meals, wine, desserts and cocktails.. Service has always been top notch. The menu is versatile though steaks and chateaubriand are highly recommended as are all the appetizers, I have tried most of them. If after dinner you can still .make room for dessert, you won't be disappointed. In my opinion, this may be the best restaurant in New Haven County. If you go and enjoy your meal, ask about their gift certificates. Reservations are highly recommended.

Excellent for a fine dining experience. The steaks were great as expected. The lobster arrancini were also delicious. Other seafood entrees looked good too. Will have to go back to try them out.

The food was great. Service was excellent. The Japanese wagyu steak was perfect. The waitress suggestions were phenomenal. Five stars in my book. Can't wait to go back.

An excellent choice for dining! Everything from being greeted as you walked in, to the delicious Cuisine and the attentive service of the staff, was spot on! If you are in the area this is definitely our Top Choice for dining.

We were going to make reservations somewhere else but they had so many arbitrary rules, regulations and charges, we changed our minds. But now we had 9 family members wanting to celebrate a very special Birthday. I said let’s see if we can get in Jack’s. They immediately took our reservation and were so friendly and patient with some changes to our party. The food was excellent, served to us by Carlos with care. A great place!! We’ll be back.

The food was delicious!!! Steak was cooked to perfection! The calamari was delicious and im not a favorite of calamari. But they cooked it to perfectly with the right seasoning! The penned pasta was absolutely delicious! Italiano style! Drinks were on point and the service was great. Thanks Laura! Five stars!!!!
