3 Best Bakeries in New Haven, CT

I want to start off by saying that life has been very hard as a single parent. I had just moved into the area and settling into our new apartment. I thought that it would be a good time to treat my son and I to something sweet and we stop by the bakery. I was greeted with warm smiles and great customer service I wish I got the name of the girl that attended to me but she was amazing I did not have enough in my bank account to get everything in the order that I requested. With what I had she was happy to help and I was able to get my son some cookies and a cupcake. Times are really hard and not everyone has a heart like theirs definitely stopping and give them the recognition they deserve.

I usually have pictures of the food I review but these were so good I forgot to take pictures. The store isn't that large and the selection was moderate but the quality of what they had was phenomenal. Their desserts remind me of the Italian desserts from Italy when I was a kid.We got an assortment of mini desserts and the lobster tail Do yourself a favor and don't share the lobster tail. Yeah it's that good. My husband and I got one for the car ride back to NJ and we're so upset we only bought one. .I WILL be back for more. Worth a 4 hour drive.

Lucibello's is a wonderful bakery!! On this visit, I purchased two dozen miniature Italian pastries. They were absolutely delicious. I have also purchased cookie trays and anginettes in the past. The cookie tray presentation is beautiful and all of the cookies are delicious. At the party I went to on Saturday, my friends had a cake with Italian cream that they bought at Lucibello's. The cake was beautiful and delicious also!! The bakery is always spotless clean. The staff is very friendly and they wait on customers very quickly.

Born and raised in New Haven, I am a connoisseur of fine pastries and sweet treats. For years, I was unaware of this gem until I encountered the owner's son distributing samples. The chocolate croissants were divine! I dashed across the street and have since become a regular. I've grown close to the owner, Arlene, who generously allowed me to film my series in her beautifully adorned space. She's wonderful, and my cast and crew thoroughly enjoyed our time there. A heartfelt thanks to Arlene! I urge everyone to take a break, visit, and prepare to be enthralled. You won't be disappointed!

Wow nothing but good things to say about this bakery! They are very nice and professional. The prices are great! And the custom made cake was very tasty and moist. In the chocolate truffle flavor. We received so many compliments on the cake design and taste. This will now be my go to place for custom cakes! Thank you so much! 10s across the board!

Great place! Baked me a custom heart shaped cake with the cutest design. They were fast, open to suggestions/comments, and overall the best! Definitely give them a shot for your next birthday party. Very grateful for you all!
