3 Best Cakes in Long Beach, CA

Loved loved loved my visit to Susie Cakes. The host was so sweet that she even insisted on making a few more mini cupcakes as we wanted them. She was so kind and accommodating that she made-’em as we wanted. Cupcakes were so so moist and looked cute too

I just ordered 2 slices of cakes from them for my husband’s birthday on Ubereats. I was 6000 miles away. I wrote on the order note that I couldn’t celebrate his birthday in person… just hoping that the delivery goes smooth and perfect even though I wasn’t there to receive the cakes! And oh my!!! I was shocked to see the picture my husband sent me of the cakes. The gals at Susie Cakes went beyond to make it a special birthday for him. We love love too! Thank you so much.

I was brought these cupcakes so I have no experience in-store. But the cupcake was extremely good. I had the coconut cupcake, I want more! It was soft cake with rich frosting. The amount of coconut was perfect. Would get again.

I had them make me a cake for my 40th birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a Swiss buttercream espresso with chocolate ganache, and I received so many compliments on it from my guests! Highly recommend.

It's a small local café that also does custom cakes and baked goods. I ordered 5 dozen cupcakes for my friend's baby shower. The owner and I emailed back and forth for a couple of weeks about what to make. She was patient with me and my indecisiveness. I kept it simple 3 flavors vanilla, chocolate and chocolate dipped strawberry. The cake was perfect light and moist on every cupcake. The frosting drool worthy, vanilla bean, chocolate fudge, strawberry cream cheese. Everyone loved them and had extras, my friend said the strawberry was life changing. While there I ordered a Hawaiian latte, delicious! The staff was friendly and kind. I will be going back.

There was one thought that came through my mind when I ordered, "This is so California!" The man who took my order was so chill, I didn't feel rushed at all. And he didn't even give me an option to tip! (those get annoying when it's just take out) I just gave $2 to the meh coffee shop I went to, and I wish I had given it to him. The gooseberry scone was amazing! Moist and dry and fluffy and perfectly tangy. The strawberry one was like a delicious hug (I used to eat scones In elementary school, but never found good ones, until now!). My aunt loved the chocolate chip one. Overall, loved Saints and Sinners. Very cultural experience. 10/10 would recommend as someone from the other coast.
