“Dr. Jeffrey Fisher is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center where he has delivered the prestigious Roy Swann and Heberden lectures. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Bronx Municipal Medical Center Dr. Fisher further honed his skills during a cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, solidifying his specialization in the field. He began his private practice in 1989. With an illustrious career spanning over 48 years, he brings extensive experience to his practice. At Cardiology Consultants of New York, he offers cardiovascular and internal medical care, blending his genuine concern for patients with the latest medical advancements to ensure optimal care. His dedication and proficiency have led to fellowship status in prestigious organizations such as the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Heart Association, the American Osler Society, and the New York Academy of Medicine. In 2012, he received the initial Voluntary Faculty Achievement Award and Outstanding Teacher Award from the Weill Cornell Medical College. He is the founding president of the Institute for Educational Achievement (IEA) in New Milford, New Jersey, a school and adult life skills program for children and adults with autism.
