“2026 Update: Dr. Benjamin B. Bedford is an orthopedic surgeon certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2012. He completed his early education at Fox Lane High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, cum laude, from Middlebury College in 2000. He later pursued his medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, graduating with his medical degree in 2004. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, serving as chief resident from 2008 to 2009. Dr. Benjamin B. Bedford is affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has presented research and lectures at many orthopedic conferences and has written articles on orthopedics and sports medicine. He specializes in the treatment of sports-related injuries, as well as in arthroscopic and open surgery for knee, shoulder, ankle, and elbow injuries. Dr. Benjamin B. Bedford currently performs clinical research at the Nicholas Institute for Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT). He serves as associate director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship in the Department of Orthopedics at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Benjamin B. Bedford is also affiliated with Mount Sinai Morningside and White Plains Hospital.”
