3 Best Chinese Restaurants in Charlotte, NC

Yesterday for lunch we were in the Charlotte area and decided on having some Asian cuisine for lunch. We found Wan Fu and decided to give it a try since it had great reviews. It was a great decision! The atmosphere was so relaxing, the staff was exceptional and so nice! And the food was so good! This was an amazing lunch in every aspect and Wan Fu will become our new go to for Chinese cuisine.

I have visited a lot of Chinese restaurants and let me tell you, that you find some good ones and some bad ones, but this one is a Gem. You cannot go wrong with this place, is so delightful. The atmosphere is feels just right and the person who was our waitress. He knew that we were there for the first time he gave us some really good recommendation. It made my day.

I have been coming here for years! Highly recommend for true authentic Chinese cuisine. Their food always tastes fresh and the fried rice is out of this world. While there read the history about the owners, and how they cook their items. Pineapple Chicken and Fried Rice is delicious. The honey Chicken is amazing, as well as their Dumplings. Great restaurant for family, business or just to go out and enjoy. Highly recommend.

I have the pleasure of Baoding since the opening in 1993. This is my “go to” for good Chinese. I have celebrated many birthdays with friends and family and have favorites. The staff has always been friendly, helpful and attentive. The food excellent, tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere has always been welcoming. My favorites include Baoding Shrimp, Basil Rolls, Hot & Sour Soup, Tangerine, Kong Po, Thai Curry, Moo Shu, Asian, Hunsn or Szechuan dishes. The last visit was Moo Shu and I was pleased they were served filled already. I can’t say which protein I prefer because I rotate from chicken to beef to shrimp and occasionally pork. Small but added bonus: Baoding doesn’t upcharge for brown rice. One day I’ll try some of the others I didn’t mention like Chow Mein, etc.

Another trip to Baoding for dinner last evening. I had the Crispy Shredded Beef w/ white rice and ordered the Shumai (shrimp dumpling). The beef was fried and in a sauce with a little spiciness. It was good. The shrimp dumplings were very good as usual. The waitress welcomed me back as I had not been in a while. She is always very friendly. I have enjoyed everything I ordered so far. The sweet tea is southern. I always get it and a glass of water. I highly recommend Boading.
