3 Best Chinese Restaurants in Springfield, MO

Canton Inn is my favorite for comfort Chinese food. I’ve eaten almost everything on the menu over the last two decades and everything is good. The best cabbage egg rolls in Springfield in my opinion, and the egg drop soup is spectacular. The wontons and crab rangoon are always a good choice. The thing that makes Canton Inn the best to me is the sauce... when I think of cashew chicken and sweet and sour chicken, I think of the sauce at Canton Inn... it’s the best to me and has been since I first ate there in the late 90’s. This is definitely not a fancy place, but if you’re craving Chinese food done well across the board, Canton Inn is tough to beat.

Great tasting no frills Chinese food. The walls are covered with awards won by the quality inexpensive cuisine. The egg rolls and crab rangoons are fantastic. The chicken is nice and tender, not rubbery. Great location for grabbing a quick bite in Springfield. Right across the corner from Bass Pro Shops, Wonders of Wildlife museum and aquarium, Salvation Army and Red Racks thrift stores. The General Tsos chicken has a fragrant garlic flavor and is not very spicy at all. The sweet and sour is my absolute favorite! Make sure you check this place out.

The fried pot stickers are perfectly thick and chewy. The sauce that comes with them The sauce on the cashew chicken is also thick and a beautiful dark brown All the stars, everything hit!

I had an amazing experience at 888 Restaurant! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so inviting. Sasha, our server, was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. The rice noodles with cabbage were fantastic, and I tried the spicy chicken—wow, it was incredible! Definitely coming back soon!

I've come here to triple eights dozens of times spaning from when I was a kid up till now as an adult. The food is fantastic I've had some bad food here before though mostly with the crab ragons but they have given me some fantastic dishes so it makes up for it. Service is great sometimes rushed a bit but not in a bad way. The setting here Is nice as well but not many people to see inside from my experience overall 5 stars with some small room for improvement.

I didn’t get a picture but I ordered chicken fried rice and it was the best I’ve had in a very long time. The rangoons were nice and crisp and the hint of sweet perfected it. We also got pan fried dumplings which were also delicious. Definitely will be coming back.
