Holy Name Of Jesus Cathedral was established in 2011. The cathedral accommodates more than 2,000 worshippers and serves as the site for major pilgrimages, liturgical celebrations, and events for the Catholic community of eastern North Carolina. Church bells are ringing, and the faithful are hurrying their steps and leaving mass. Their parish is a focus of prayer as they seek God's great grace, power, and blessing in diocesan masses such as the Chrism Mass for his men. It provides different parking options at and around the church.

St Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church was built in 1966 and is a Jesuit parish in Raleigh, NC. Each day they have mass, celebrate the sacraments, development of faith for all ages, and programs of social action. Church has an English and Spanish speaking population. The Choir also sings special liturgies like Christmas, the Easter Triduum, and Affirmation. The priests are members of the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus, the Jesuit Portal of the United States, and the Jesuits Worldwide. Traditional hymns and chants, sacred choral music (old and new), and the best of contemporary liturgical composition are part of the repertoire.

Sacred Heart Church was established in 1879 and is a vibrant and growing downtown congregation whose mission was to feel the love of God in teaching and practicing their sacramental life. The church held nine (9) masses a day, of which three (3) were in Spanish. The historical and religious meaning, Sacred Heart, is connected to the Diocese of Raleigh and the Holy Name of the Cathedral of Jesus forever. It features Gothic elements, such as lancet windows, pointed arches, mock buttresses, and a corner tower with a spire. Above the main entrance is a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
