3 Best Dog Training in Raleigh, NC

After failing at the implementation of a DIY training program we bought online a year ago, we signed our younger dog up for training here a few weeks ago. We have been so impressed with her progress, that we just signed up our older dog. Everyone at Sit Means Sit has been fantastic to work with, we are enjoying the process, AND the difference in both of our dogs has been phenomenal. The difference that this training will make in the calmness of our home is going to be substantial! We can't wait to see the final results in several weeks. This has been well-worth the money and time spent!

The board & train program with Sit Means Sit has dramatically improved quality of life for us and our two dogs. Drew and Colby were very good about explaining the program and setting expectations. Lexi was a fantastic trainer and communication was excellent from our initial consultation to our post-board training sessions and group lessons. Luna and Cheyenne are now great listeners and Cheyenne has a whole new level of confidence and we couldn’t be happier.

I always enjoy taking Lola and learning something new. The staff is great and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for all dog lovers that want the best training for your dog and yourself.

We had the best experience with Cornerstone K-9 right off the bat. When I first reached out about the puppy training programs, I had so many questions and wasn’t sure which direction to take. Gina really helped guide me and was so thoughtful about my dog’s and my family’s needs. She gave recommendations without pressure as to which options would be the best for our family, and it worked out so well. Our trainer, Kaitlin, was also amazing from the get-go. We had a few at-home training sessions with her and our kids before sending our dog with her for the 3-week program. Luna felt so comfortable with her and loved her before we sent her away, so it made it much easier to send her with Kaitlin for a few weeks. And she came home so well-trained!! We also got a tutorial on how to continue with the training at home. She has been so great with her commands and listens and responds really well, thanks to Kaitlin’s work with her. We definitely recommend Cornerstone K-9.

The individual dog training sessions that we had with Sandy were extremely helpful. Sandy was very good at targeting the training towards our needs and provided us with many exercises and techniques to help with our puppy. Also very efficient, friendly and responsive. We all benefited greatly from taking these training classes.

Karissa is a total pro who went above and beyond to set us up for success with our first-ever puppy. She creates a fun and effective training experience for both K-9s and us people. We can’t wait to board/train with her again.
