Queen of Angels Catholic Church is a historical and deeply spiritual landmark in Riverside. Established in 1949, this faith community has flourished, nurturing devotion, commitment, and service to their Lord. Originally known as the Catholic Church of La Sierra, Queen of Angels Church began as a small parish. Over the years, it has grown exponentially, and today it proudly celebrates Masses for more than 2,100 registered families. In 1999, the church joyously marked its 50th Jubilee, with Bishop Gerald Barnes officiating the commemorative events. The impressive 55,000-square-foot building of Queen of Angels Church is a testament to its growth and vitality. The church encompasses 130 staff offices, a dedicated workspace for the diocese, and two spacious banquet rooms hosting various diocesan activities every week. As a Community of Believers in Jesus Christ, Queen of Angels Church is driven by a mission to impact the lives of its members and the larger family, neighbourhood, and society with the Gospel's transformative power. Through their dedication to spreading the message of hope, they strive to fill people's lives with the light of faith.
