CATHOLIC CHURCH OF THE MAGDALEN
12626 East 21st Street North, Wichita, KS 67206 Directions
'Catholic Church of the Magdalen' was founded in 1950. The first worship room was the building at their former location, which became the social hall. This building was built to recreate, in many respects, the feeling of building the church that their parish called home with its rounded walls, angled pews, and sloped floor for 33 years. Their old church building occupied 850 seats. The new worship room can accommodate 1500 persons. Two prevailing themes inspired the architecture of this Church building. Church provides personal prayer, community worship, Christian education, service to one another community.
