The total construction cost was approximately $500,000. The cathedral provides a welcoming atmosphere for all tourists and parishioners to make their worship. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is a massive and majestic cathedral with columns of marble and a statue of Jesus. Wheelchair-accessible parking lots and amenities are also available.

"Catholic Church of the Magdalen is the first worship room that was built. The building was built to recreate, in many respects, the feeling of the Church that their parish called home with its rounded walls, angled pews, and sloped floor for over 33 years. The newly constructed worship space has a seating capacity for 1,500 individuals. The two prevailing themes that inspired the architecture of this church building were a pilgrimage of faith, a journey of conversion, and healing, which have become the focus of the art created for this new space. Catholic Church of the Magdalen also provides various services, such as personal prayer, community worship, Christian education, and community service.

2026 Update: The church has been operating for more than 75 years in the community. Bishop Mark K. Carroll founded the church while he was Bishop of the Diocese of Wichita at that time."
