We’ve had our 4-year-old daughter enrolled at Hearts in Motion for over a year now, and it has truly become the highlight of her week! From the moment she walks into the studio, she's lit up with excitement and joy. Ms. Ali has created something truly special—a warm, welcoming, and high-energy environment where kids not only learn to dance but absolutely fall in love with it. The classes are thoughtfully structured to keep little ones engaged, and they have so much fun they don’t even realize how much they’re learning. We catch ourselves playing the class songs at home, and our daughter eagerly shows off her new moves (and insists we dance along!). Ms. Ali and her incredible team (especially Ms. Emme) are nothing short of magic—they connect with the kids, make them feel seen, and bring out their confidence in the most joyful way. My daughter has been going to Hearts in Motion Dance Project since she was just over 2 years old and has loved it ever since! We have been going to Hearts in Motion Dance project for 3.5 years. Miss Ali does a great job with the students. The prices are very reasonable.

My 3-year old daughter had her first year of ballet with Hearts in Motion Dance Project, and she loved every second of it. The staff is great and very patient. They offer a variety of classes and studio times to accommodate as many people as possible. I highly recommend them.

Over the top dance academy performance of Disney’s Moana Jr was absolutely terrific, correction terrific doesn’t begin to explain the visual effects, dance choreography, singing and sheer talent displayed today. From the tallest to the smallest performer everyone had a role and the opportunity to showcase talent during the production. My family was mesmerized and my Daughters ages (9,7&7) continuously said “Mom, please sign us up. Please” ???? Jen, thank you for continuing to reach back into the community for our children. Thank you for allowing the opportunity to be “OVER THE TOP” without limitations! The city of Grand Rapids is blessed to have Mr. & Mrs. Smith! Great Job Jen.

I stumbled across the studios Empowered high heel dance class and signed up with the hopes of being in the presence of strong willed women and deepen my self confidence- and that’s exactly what was delivered! From the second I walked in the door I felt welcomed, seen, and supported especially with it being my first time taking a dance class. It was refreshing to be in a place that truly stands for bringing people together through dance and community. Very grateful to have met the owner Jen and all the ladies along the way! I’m looking forward to taking the next class.

I absolutely love this studio! It's amazing to have adult tap classes available multiple times a week for all levels, and a whole Tap Week event.
