I started dancing a couple years ago on a high school dance team but I moved around a lot and stopped dancing for 6 months. But my mom saw New World one day driving in her car and thought it'd be a good idea for me to dance again... I am beyond happy my mom found this studio. When I first started I was a little rust but the instructors are SO patient and incredibly friendly! I've only been dancing here for 9 months but, I am in love. The atmosphere just makes my passion for dancing grow every single second I am there! Everyone is so friendly and so close we're like one big family My sister who used to be very shy and self-conscious now dances in the grocery store My memories in this studio will forever stay in my heart.

Love Love Love this Studio, they have the best Hip Hop, Ballet and over all Dance Classes in SCV. Dance Instructors are amazing with kids. And best of all this Mama can take an adult exercise class while my daughter is in the studio next door best Dance Studio in Santa Clarita Valley.

Love this studio it's been a great place for all of my kids to grow in what they love doing. The staff is amazing and very helpful. My Daughter is becoming a great dancer thanks to all of them there.

My daughter Erin loves to dance and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of this wonderful studio. Their staff esp Ms Jan is so supportive and tireless in making sure the kids are prepared for competitions. We are very grateful for everything that she does for our daughter and all the kids in Studio 1. I also love the fact the kids, parents and teachers are like family, we support each other and show love for each and each and every one of them. My daughter improved so much with her dancing because of her wonderful teachers at Studio1 Dance Academy. Her private classes really enhanced her techniques. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of this studio. If you have kids who loves to dance hip hop, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary or just loves to do acrobatic stunts, I highly recommend you try our studio .The teachers are amazing and the kids love them!!! Thank you Studio 1 Dance Academy.

Studio 1 Dance Academy has been absolutely amazing for my daughter! She has been going there for 6 years and we love the teachers and the dance families. The director, Jan, is very welcoming and has a passion for her dancers and the studio and it shows. The teachers are professional, encouraging, motivating and fabulous! Studio 1 creates a highly positive environment for dancers of all ages and levels. WE LOVE BEING PART OF STUDIO 1! Thank you.

Studio 1 has the best technique training in the valley! Their goal is to mentor your dancer into becoming the best dancer! In 7 years of training under Miss Jan and her staff, my daughter got the most valuable foundation and built the most incredible dance family.

STAR DANCE CENTER REVIEWS

My 5 year old daughter loves dancing at Star. There is also a nice lobby for parents. All of the teachers that I've seen have been great! So far we've only gone to one recital but it was a lot of fun! Today as we were leaving class, my daughter said "Miss Erin is my favorite teacher ever!" Miss Erin is a great teacher making it fun, yet still keeping all the kids in order and paying attention. I think we'll be continuing to dance here for a while.

Great dance studio! We've been taking my 2 year old here for a month now, and she loves it. Everybody from the front desk to the dance instructors are wonderful, helpful and kind. My daughter has been having a great time, and we are excited to see her progress as she prepares for her first recital in a few months.

My daughter started tap ballet class here and loved it. She was only 3 last year, new to the scene she was quickly welcomed and made comfortable within a matter of days. If you're looking for a dance center that makes your little one feel like they belong it's this place here. Thank you ladies for working so well with our kiddos.
