WHITNEY CANYON PARK TRAIL REVIEWS

Super fun hike - we did the hike to first little waterfall which was a lot of fun. To note that other reviewers didn’t mention, there are multiple stream crossings which include rock hopping and/or balancing on logs if you don’t want to get your feet wet (ankle deep water end of April). Once to the falls, there’s a little pool and you can use the rope to climb up and keep going or turn around. It took us about 2.5 hrs in and out. Lots of shady areas, the trail runs along the creek - lovely scenery, not too crowded and lots of free parking in the big lot.

I love this hike!!! The views are breathtaking at any time of year. But it's better to come during the cooler months to see the streams and greenery. There are many different directions to go in and every angle is beautiful.

Quite an easy hike, you’re surrounded with gorgeous flowers and trees, and it’s just a simple, beautiful hike. It’ll take you about 45 minutes to get to the peak. Easy for children as well.

Beautiful walk for the morning; walking back there was a lot more sun out. Bring sunscreen for later in the day. Nice variety for birding. Bug repellant would be helpful, too; lots of gnats & mosquitos, especially near the water.

Can't get enough of that place. I love being out doors. The mountains are beautiful the sky was clear. Did not see anything or anyone. Bring water and sun protection. You will come across a lot of shade. Great place for a bike ride. Not a good place for small children. No flies today. I hiked into the park for one and a half hours today got some better pics. I think somewhere I took a wrong turn. I might of gone off the trail. Check out these new pictures I took. My goal is to climb to the very top of one of these huge mountain tops and take some pictures.

Great place to hike, if you make a large loop from the left it's steeper coming up and much easier coming back to the parking lot. I really like this park easy to get around a couple difficult spots keep your eyes open. Plenty of parking at the bottom of the hill enjoy your trip.

QUIGLEY CANYON OPEN SPACE REVIEWS

Nice place for a walk. With our little kids, we did not make it far enough to do actual hiking. But the walk we took was easy enough for the kiddos. The trail is wide (at least until we turn around), so we just might take our double stroller next time. More horseback riders than hikers when we went on a Saturday morning in early February. Four stars because it’s not the most amazing open space, but it checks all the boxes of a decent spot for a nature walk.

Lovely park with a variety of options for trails depending on the level of difficulty that someone is looking for. Depending on the time of year it is important to watch out for rattlesnakes. Highly recommend this park.

Lots of great trails here including more casual walks and more strenuous uphill. Some nice views from the top of the hills. Great place to walk with family or friends or to take your dog or hours for a walk. There is also a partly shaded picnic area which is quite nice. You may want to avoid coming here when it is really hot, because many of the trails have limited shade. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.
