OLD TOWN NEWHALL LIBRARY REVIEWS
Absolutely love this library! It is well maintained by friendly staff. They have a gallery and community service desk that helps process passports. Most of the first floor is dedicated to children and teens. The second floor is equipped with computers, study rooms, plenty of seating, a great view and a large fireplace! Best library I have been to and is a true gem of the Newhall community.
They are a well-organized and well-staffed Library. Everybody's been always very nice and very helpful. And they've been great at either having or getting the books that I like to read.

Wonderful people here, great passport service, and a big library with many books for the kids to read, with lots of little nooks to read in. Great quiet place to read.

SANTA CLARITA VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY REVIEWS
The station has a hall available for rent (max. occupancy of 75, see photo) with working AC and astoundingly *cheap* rates! Great for small parties, events, and fundraisers. Call the Historical Society for rates, availability, requirements, and booking.
A charming slice of Santa Clarita history. There are several historical buildings. My family and I visited the old train station and explored the locomotive just outside. The kids (and adults) had a blast climbing into the engineer's cabin and all over the boiler and tender. Plus, the exhibits inside the station itself were fascinating.
It is a great place to take kids to see a few animals up close and learn somethings. Also they have great trails to hike.
