Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society is committed to preserving the heritage of the Santa Clarita Valley, which is located 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. The Historical Society was formed to stimulate public interest in the Santa Clarita Valley and area history, collect and preserve facts and artifacts pertinent to the site, and inform the public. Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society cares for seven historic buildings. The site has over 15,000 historical artifacts, including photos, antiquities, and books, from its rich history in the Santa Clarita Valley. You can explore a wide range of architectural elements and outdoor exhibits on the campus while the society prepares for new exhibitions, including the Saugus Train Station Museum and the Pardee House, which will highlight the valley's history from its early inhabitants to contemporary events.
