The park features an extensive trail network linking it to the surrounding highlands and the city's bikeway network. Visitors can explore the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency headquarters, home to a Conservatory Garden and Learning Center showcasing over 350 species of drought-resistant plants, including flowers and grasses, and the park's newest addition is the exercise stairs, featuring 172 steps.

2026 Update: Central Park is the regional cross-country course used by high school and college athletes. It features an over 3-mile cross-country trail used for walking, hiking, biking, and training events and includes a 172-step exercise staircase designed for workouts. The park offers scenic views along trails with popular rock-stacking spots. The park hosts a community garden and large open spaces for casual recreation."

Went here with my kids, husband, and my dad. We went to the dog park and it was very fun. Our doggie loved it and so did our kids. The day we went, a plane drew a heart in the sky. It's a very large park. Very clean and not too busy. I can't wait to go back.

Great park with lots of amenities and building more as you can see in the pictures. With the lights it looks like soccer fields perhaps. Bigger park among the many in Santa Clarita. Great parking, dog park, hiking trails, basketball courts, the place has it all really. Also has concerts in the park in the summer. Wonderful park for Saugus and greater Santa Clarita.

This is such a nice park. It's got big grassy fields, a wonderful playground, and lots of little walking paths. It's pretty large, which is so nice! I would definitely recommend coming here!.

CANYON COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS

Clean, fun, and well maintained park with a lot of fun musical instruments, slides, and multi-level climbing structures and swings. Also bathrooms, drinking fountain, and a baseball field. Pet friendly areas, a path, and views of the hills. Nice picnic covered area if you reserve it or get there to claim it. Walk around the park and see if you can spot the rabbits. Love to visit with the kids and dog when in town from Oregon.

Very scenic and family friendly park. With a baseball field,several playground areas, trails, a parcourse trail, and even and observation point, this park has amenities for the entire family. The premises are clean and there are plenty of good picnic spots. This one is, without a doubt, one of the best city parks out there.

People love to walk their dogs here. Clean park. Amenities. Lots of grass. Kids love the play equipment.

Beautiful park. Small fly problem near the benches but we didn’t stay in that area too long. Nice trail to walk and play Pokémon Go.

Took my family to ride their bicycles on the path. Beautiful area, view, well taken care of to go bicycling around our beautiful city. There is a huge open area at the park for volleyball, soccer, etc, and a small playground, mostly for younger ones.

Cute playground I love that the restrooms are close by. I have little ones so it was very convenient having the restroom near by. A nice walking path and lots of grass area to play sports.
