I recently got into trail running because I thought it would be a nice addition to the swim/bike/run routine of Ironman training. I noticed this parking lot off the Newhall exit every time I'd come to visit my in-laws. I finally had a chance to check it out and I'm so glad I did.

What I really love about this park is the location. Being on top of a hill, it has an amazing view of the Canyon Country area. The view alone, especially at night, is enough to make a trip there worth it. The picnic tables there make it a perfect place to bring some food and have a nice lunch or dinner while overlooking the valley. It's the perfect place for a romantic date with your loved one. Whether you are a kid or an adult, I'm sure you'll enjoy this park.
