"Gibbon Conservation Center was founded in 1976 by Alan Richard Mootnick, and it is the only facility in the globe dedicated especially to gibbons, an increasingly rare ape. GCC is a non-profit center whose mission is to promote the preservation, study, and care of gibbons through public education & habitat conservation. A guided tour is offered at 10 am on Saturdays & Sundays. Student visits and tours are supported here. The Gibbon Conservation Center has a picnic area suitable for parties & gatherings. Memberships: $20 for students, $25 for teachers/seniors, $50 for individuals, and $75 for families. You can also get the Golden Gibbon Membership at $500 and Silver Gibbon Membership at $250. Free admission is available for kids 5 & under."

Here’s The Deal:
"Initially built in 1969, Cougar Stadium is the home of five College of the Canyons intercollegiate teams & played host to the 2008 and 2010 Men’s and Women’s Soccer State Championships. It is the biggest athletic stadium in the Santa Clarita that underwent a renovation that resurfaced the running track & replaced the playing surface with a higher grade of artificial turf. The stadium track was wholly resurfaced with a new 7-mm layer of rubber and granules before being restriped with official collegiate track/field markings. The pole vault, long jump, and triple jump runways were resurfaced entirely as well. Cougar Stadium has a seating capacity of 7,500 and a two-level press box that can hold coaches, press, a play-by-play team & television cameras."
