“The Gibbon Conservation Center is a non-profit organization that promotes the conservation and research of the gibbon. The center was founded in 1976 by Alan Richard Mootnick. The center is home to more than 40 highly endangered gibbon apes (small apes). The Gibbon Conservation Center has a picnic area that is suitable for parties and gatherings. The conservation center encourages student visits and tours. Guided tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays. You can also get a Golden Gibbon membership and a Silver Gibbon membership. The center aims to promote the conservation, study, and care of gibbons through public education and habitat preservation.”
