The $18.3-million center features a magnificent 7,500 sq. ft proscenium theatre with a state-of-the-art sound system, 886 seats, and an experimental Black Box theatre, providing visitors with an unforgettable performance experience. Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons was funded by the State of California ($15.9 million) and the City of Santa Clarita ($2.4 million) and spans 47,000 sq. ft. The stadium is the home of five intercollegiate teams, and its versatility and high-quality facilities have made it a preferred location for various sports events. The stadium has hosted several notable events, including the 2008 and 2010 Men's and Women's Soccer State Championships, demonstrating its ability to accommodate large-scale competitions. Recently, the stadium underwent a significant renovation, with the track being wholly resurfaced with a new 7-mm layer of rubber and granules.
