Since 1969

Initially built in 1969, Cougar Stadium is the home of five College of the Canyons intercollegiate teams & played host to the 2008 and 2010 Men’s and Women’s Soccer State Championships. It is the biggest athletic stadium in the Santa Clarita that underwent a renovation that resurfaced the running track & replaced the playing surface with a higher grade of artificial turf. The stadium track was wholly resurfaced with a new 7-mm layer of rubber and granules before being restriped with official collegiate track/field markings. The pole vault, long jump, and triple jump runways were resurfaced entirely as well. Cougar Stadium has a seating capacity of 7,500 and a two-level press box that can hold coaches, press, a play-by-play team & television cameras.
