Me and my now Husband went to Dance Sport VA and worked with Cameron to learn our first dance choreography. Neither of us had prior ballroom dance experience, but Cameron mad us feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole process. By the end of learning all of the choreography we both felt like actual dancers! We had such an amazing time that both of us want to continue learning ballroom together.
Went to a live dance theatrical performance and was amazed at the production and realistic props used for the event. Very friendly staff and lots of room to dance. I was surprised to see they had a full-service dance club as well and happy to know that the spaces are available for private rentals. I would highly recommend.
We had so much fun learning how to dance, not just for our wedding but in general. Jason was our instructor, he made sure we were comfortable with the moves and with being around others while dancing. We plan to take more lessons and go to the dance parties

I highly doubt that you will find a better quality dance studio anywhere in the Hampton Roads area. The owners are dance champions and [are excellent]... I have never laughed as much with people and at myself as I have since attending Arthur Murray. The staff is so personable and know[s] how to have a good time, that you can't help but get caught up in their enthusiasm and joy for dance and life in general. In short, I'm having the time of my life and wouldn't even want to go anywhere else.
I am so happy that I found Arthur Murray dance studio! Dancing is the most amazing way to be active, find community, and decrease stress. The staff takes the time to get to know each student and really tailors each lesson to your personal goals. My instructor... puts in so much time and energy to make sure I am challenged and also having fun! The staff are all so friendly and incredible dancers and creative choreographers. Thank you to my Arthur Murray family for creating so much joy in my life!
My husband and I signed up for dance lessons for our wedding. We only knew we wanted to learn basic steps. We had no idea how much fun and how bonding it would be. GOLDEN SLIPPERS DANCE ACADEMY REVIEWS
Golden Slippers is really making a positive difference in the life of my granddaughter. Miss Amanda is a great teacher and focuses as much on relationships as on dance...and she does great with both ballet and tap dancing too! My granddaughter Great Grandma was a Ukranian Dancer back in the 1930s (yes, that's the granddaughter in GG's OLD costume), and she loves to dance. Great program, great instructors, inspiring teachers. So fun to see her come out of dance class happy and smiling. Thanks, Golden Slippers!
I did dance at Golden Slippers starting when I was 3 in the 1980s! The teachers were always kind, helpful, and full of skill. I graduated from Golden Slippers while in high school. It gave me a good foundation to continue to dance in college. Love Ms Susan! I'm still waiting for her to open studios in NC, so my daughter can go!
Golden Slippers is the best dance studio in the world! There it's like a huge family with the best dance teachers, owner and staff! Plus the yearly recital is off the charts amazing!!
