I would highly recommend DanceSportVA to my family and friends. I was interested in learning two styles of dance, Country two step and "simple" slow dance. At fifty one years old, I was embarrassed of my lack of "Grace" on the dance floor. I was blessed to be paired up with Katja who has been amazing, She has made me feel very comfortable and has shown a lot of patience. After my trial session, I choose the ten session package. I am only half way through them and I already know that it was money well spent. I also know that I will be extending my sessions because it has been more fun than I even imagined. She has been amazing and If you are lucky enough to be paired with her I promise you will be very happy with your results.

Me and my now Husband went to Dance Sport VA and worked with Cameron to learn our first dance choreography. Neither of us had prior ballroom dance experience, but Cameron mad us feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole process. By the end of learning all of the choreography we both felt like actual dancers! We had such an amazing time that both of us want to continue learning ballroom together.

We've been going to DanceSportVA for about 5 years attending dance parties, group classes, showcases, and private lessons. It really is one of the best run studios in the area. The instructors are all top notch. The facilities are beautiful and spacious. And the dance floor is one of my favorites in the area.

We were blown away by our first experience here! We were instantly greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm by Wendy. We came for our initial consultation for our wedding dance lessons. Wendy helped to calm our nerves and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. After spending some time with Wendy and learning about our upcoming dance adventures, we had our first lesson with Devonte. He was so much fun! He listened to our wishes and instantly came up with wonderful ideas for our first dance. He laughed with us, cheered us on, and encouraged us every step of the way. We had such a great time with him that we requested the rest of our private lessons be with him. After just 1 visit we decided we wanted to continue lessons well past our wedding day. I couldn’t recommend them more! We are so excited for the rest of our adventure here.

I had a great experience at Arthur Murray, Virginia Beach! My instructor Jack was the best! I got married in May and wanted to do an upbeat dance with my son who is 22. We chose a song and Jack knew just what dances to teach us to make the dance very successful! We had fun and our guests were very impressed! We both want to continue dancing. Wendy was also very instrumental in ensuring our dance was ready to go! Highly recommend.

We LOVED dancing with Andrea!!! My husband and I are not the most coordinated people but Andrea was always so sweet and patient, and we learned so much! It was a lovely date night that turned into a regular weekly evening for us.
