'Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center' has a 300,000-gallon tank with sharks and is the renowned aquarium for aquatic species. It has thousands of animals covering more than 300 species, seen in exciting and educational exhibits, ready to surprise, entertain and encourage everyone. Visitors can enjoy the animals and show at their own pace, and everyone has a pleasant stay. It offers opportunities for students of middle and high school to explore marine science studies, opportunities, and issues through field activities and conservation action. About 15 million people are welcomed into the facility by the Virginia Aquarium. The Main Building offers entry services and free parking.

Military Aviation Museum holds one of the world's largest private collections of military aircraft from the First World War and the World War II period. Every year 40,000 visitors come from all over the world to see their planes, particularly during their major events and air shows. You can take a flight for a once in a lifetime experience in an open cockpit biplane, and read about the legends of the first 50 years of military aviation. Their STEM discovery tours cover the flight science and history by SOL related, hands-on activities that bring life to science and history. It affords free entry for members, child five, and under WWII & Korea war veterans.

'Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art' is a non-profit organization that serves to foster awareness, discovery, and appreciation of contemporary art. Approximately 38,500 square feet of display space and 6,300 square feet. MOCA presents ever-changing exhibits in various modern media (painting, architecture, sculpture, video, and other visual media). CAC promotes individuals and discussion around the community through excellence and diversity in their shows and educational programming. It provides a wide variety of events for families to enjoy, from their daily family feasts to family talk tours and the international film festival for children. Museum offers free admission for children five and up are students.
