3 Best Donut Shops in Providence, RI

There seems to be a debate for the best donut shop in the area, and I can say it's Knead Doughnuts, hands down. I've been going to this location since they opened, and the quality has been consistent throughout the years. Yes, the donuts are a little pricey, but they're really big and really delicious. I haven't recieved a single dry donut from them. My all-time favorite is the raspberry fritter, which tastes like tart, fresh raspberries, and I really like old fashioned cake donuts with the hard glaze. I haven't tried the gluten free donuts, but the vegan ones are just as good as the regular ones. An honorable mention would be the jelly donut because the jelly tastes like fresh jam. If you are picky about donuts and like a hard glazed cake donut, or a fluffy yeast donut, they have both, and both are great. I do recommend going as early as possible to make sure you get the ones you want.

This is a really cute doughnut shop with a nice variety of fresh high quality donuts. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy and they had a great selection of donuts and pastries to choose from. The service was great too. We got a brown butter pecan donut and a mocha old fashioned donut. The brown butter pecan donut was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. It was so big and fluffy and had so many little pecan pieces coating it. The mocha old fashioned was good too but the texture wasn’t quite as good and I didn’t taste much coffee flavor. This is a great a great spot with delicious donuts! We’ll be back for sure and will recommend it to friends!.

First visit to Knead and found the store immaculately kept and the staff knowledgeable as well as friendly. The selection of donuts was diverse and the added selection of vegan varieties a plus. Both vegan and non-vegan donuts were rich and flavorful. Definitely worth a visit!.

We have been getting glaze n daze donuts delivered to us for 5 yrs! For the first time ever I took my two youngest with me to go to the actual store front. It's your classic little donut shop store front with the kitschy art on the walls & orange metal seats. We got two sunny d drinks, 2 large coffees, four beautiful fresh donuts (I forgot to take pics!), with a 15% tip came to $29. My youngest wanted a strawberry sprinkle but they only had strawberry glazed w/o sprinkles, so the woman at the counter made him a fresh strawberry glazed with sprinkles. Incredible. If you love donuts & live anywhere close to glaze n daze it's a MUST TRY. My top recommendations are the apple fritter (life changing), the mini chip donut, the pistachio, literally any of their donuts. The Baker makes them fresh constantly throughout the day. They blow pvd & knead out of the water I'm not kidding.

First time going here and it was so good. I was looking for a homemade donut shop near my work and I'm glad I found this one. The donuts are delicious and fresh. I enjoyed the assortment of flavors. I also got a Thai iced tea, which was really good. He put in four free donuts holes in my order which was nice. I'll definitely be back!.

Found this bussiness when it popped up on my Instagram feed. Delicious donuts and so many options. The building itself was a little hard to get to in the morning traffic but definitely worth it. We tried 4 of their specialty donuts and would definitely go again!.
