Staff was on time, professional & courteous. During my visit with Dr Orr, I learned a lot about my particular health status. She took the time to make sure I understood what was going on, laid out a future plan (short & long-term), and gave me clear steps to take between now and my next visit. Knows her stuff & is a direct communicator. Absolutely LOVE this direct, data-informed approach, and looking looking forward to this Doc-Patient relationship going forward.

Dr. Orr is great. She explained everything to me in words I understand. She's very reassuring and made me feel at ease. She knows her business that's obvious. Dr. Orr would be a great friend.

Dr. Orr and her staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure that you have the best level of care. As a servicemember that moves often and often finds it difficult to find quality specialty care quickly for the time I am stationed at a location, the Meritas Office of Endocrinology has been fantastic! Could not recommend more.

I have been seeing endocrinologists for more than 30 years and I have never had HALF as good an endo--or any other kind of doctor--as Dr. Barthel. If you, like me, are a beleaguered type 1 diabetic whose highest hopes for endos have been "please fill the same scripts I've been on for a decade and don't yell at me if my A1C goes up sometimes," prepare to be astonished by Dr. Barthel's genuinely high quality of care. He is thoughtful, respectful, thorough, and an effective communicator (and he has type 1 himself--always a plus). If he moves states, I'll be buying plane tickets every 6 months to see him.

Dr. Barthel is my favorite doctor and I see many doctors. He sits and listens patiently and addresses any concerns I have. He is my friend and you don’t find that in many doctors. I will follow him wherever he goes.

This is the first I have been able to get my sugars under control. He is very encouraging and takes a real interest in helping.

I cannot recommend Dr. Sciortino highly enough. From the moment I stepped into her (virtual) office, she was incredibly attentive, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She took the time to truly listen to my concerns, carefully reviewed my history, and asked thoughtful questions.
