3 Best Endocrinologists in Lexington, KY

This was my first time seeing Dr. Miers. First impressions are everything and he was awesome. He is very kind and understanding. He told me that as we talked he was going to be typing on his computer but what he was doing was putting everything we said in my notes for himself so that he can keep up with my case and progress…etc. I thought that was fabulous because I’ve been to several Drs, even still today, that can’t remember half of the stuff we already talked about or things I had already told them SEVERAL times. He listened to every word I said and asked questions along the way. He made me aware of several things I never knew about Hashimoto Thyroiditis, an illness I’ve dealt with for over 15 years. I feel more comfortable having greater knowledge and understanding of the autoimmune disease.

I started seeing Dr. Miers a month ago. He changed my meds. In one month my a1c went from 8.9 to 7.4. It looks like I am going to bee off fast acting insulin in 2-4 weeks. This will be the first time in 32 years that I will be able to do without fast acting insulin. He listens to you and gives you the answers you need. I highly recommend him to all diabetics. Also I am losing weight. Thanks to God, and Dr. Miers.

The Staff & Dr. Marino at Baptist Endocrinology are Always ready to sit down and discuss the patient's health concerns. Dr.Marino has personally taken the time to call us back. We live approximately 3 hours from this office and if a visit is not necessary, it will not be required. We have been seeing this physician for approximately 3 years. She is very intelligent and empathetic. The staff at Baptist Endocrinology provides EXCELLENT care!!! Dr. Marino is far and away the best doctor I have ever met. She is extremely intelligent, a compassionate and caring person ,and a truly outstanding doctor. I count myself lucky to have found her.

I have gained more understanding of my problems and with the help of Anna, I'm beginning to understand stand what it is I need to change with her help and the grace of God, I plan on learning more thank you, Ms. Marino.
