ROBERT F. THOMPSON, MD - HEAD & NECK SURGERY OF KANSAS CITY, PA REVIEWS
Dr. Thompson is amazing! He's been great for me and for my dad. Both of us needed endoscopic sinus surgery (great genes huh?) and I've never been able to breath so well in my life until now! Plus, I'm healthier than I've ever been, and I've had maybe 2 sinus infections since I had the surgery 3 years ago. I used to swear I had one every couple months, or ones that would last for many months at a time. So much better now. They're all really nice, and they remember who their patients are and their stories!
Great surgeon. Did two surgeries about 10 weeks apart for me. Both of them I was back at work by lunch the same day, and never had any bruising or noticeable swelling. Minimal bleeding (considering the surgery) as well. After hearing others' horror stories, I feel like I was exceptionally fortunate that my allergist guided me to a skilled and careful surgeon. Everything healed well, even the septum repair, which has a lower success rate.
Dr. Thompson just performed a thyroidectomy on me. He was very open, explaining that he did quite a few of these. His expertise was very evident. My outcome could not have been better. It would be disingenuous to say there was no post operative pain. However, it was very minimal. I was shocked at how comfortable I was just hours after the surgery. I attribute this solely to his skill. I unconditionally recommend him to anyone that might seek his services. If I could, I would rate him 6 out of 5 stars.

STEVEN F. ELLIS, MD, FACS - HEAD & NECK SURGERY OF KANSAS CITY, PA REVIEWS
Dr. Ellis is top notch, and probably the best doctor I've ever been to. He knows his stuff and is a great surgeon. He did an excellent job with both my tonsillectomy and septoplasty. He is willing to do what it takes to help patients find relief, and not waste time and energy with temporary solutions.
I’m from out of state but I needed surgery to remove a lipoma on my neck.I was going to be in KC for a few weeks, so I attempted to find a doctor there. I was able to make an appointment for a Tuesday and then have the surgery on Thursday. Dr. Ellis was so professional, kind, and patient. Appointments were thorough but quick and I never had to wait long to see the doctor. Surgery went well and I was really pleased with the way he chose to make the incision. It takes forever in CA to get an appointment with any doctor and then forever again for surgery to be scheduled. My experience with Dr. Ellis was so wonderful, especially when compared to what I’m used to in California.
I initially began seeing Dr. Ellis for my thyroid after my previous PCP was not taking my thyroid disorder serious and denied my request to be referred to an ENT/ Endocrinologist. On a whim I booked Dr Ellis-- best decision ever! Dr. Ellis is very sharp and knowledgeable. If you have or suspect thyroid dysfunction I highly recommend him! He also is a surgeon and is not scared to put his skills to use. He is great. He has done my tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and septoplasty. I also referred my ex to him and he did his tonsils, adenoids, and septum too. I can breathe so much better now and no longer wake up gasping for air at night. If you have issues with your tonsils, sinuses, thyroid.. go see him. You won't regret it. The staff and scheduling can be wonky at times but its worth it for the care he provides.

MARK S. WALTON, MD - HEAD & NECK SURGERY OF KANSAS CITY, PA REVIEWS
Dr. Walton has successfully treated my wife and me for chronic sinus conditions that have plagued us for years. He performed difficult surgery on each of us and I we thank him immensely for his determination to resolve the sinus issues. Both of our lives have been impacted positively by his care. I have never in my life been so happy to take a deep unrestricted breath of fresh air. My quality of life as related to breathing has never been better, since being treated by Dr. Walton.
Dr. Walton performed sinus surgery, septoplasty, and polyp removal on me in Nov 2016 (6 month ago). I had been suffering from chronic sinusitis for many years dealing with headaches and infection. I also did not have sense of smell and I was not able to breath through my nose. I am completely...
I’ve seen Dr Walton a couple of times for minor issues. I was referred by a friend who had serious sinus issues and surgery. I’ve also taken three family members to him for minor problems. We have all had excellent experiences with Dr Walton.
