Matt's BBQ

Visiting from Phoenix, and I love to try out places that were on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives, and this place looked incredible. It lived up to expectations 100%. For starters, the staff and service were incredible. I had the pleasure of talking with, I believe, one of the chefs. I normally prefer chopped brisket, but he talked me into sliced, and it may be the best sliced brisket I've ever had. I added some hot vinegar and their house BBQ sauce, and it was delicious. Perfectly tender, fatty in a good way, just everything you want in brisket. Tried all of the sides, everything was good, but the queso mac n cheese was the real standout. Great flavor, peppers, very unique and just loaded with flavor. Prices are very reasonable for top quality BBQ. Worth the travel for, and good to the last bite.

We really consider ourselves true lover of texas style brisket. We have been looking for a comparable one in this region and I am glad to say our search is over. Best we had in pnw! Got the brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage - unfortunately beef rib was sold out. We will be back for sure!

Lives up the hype. Top 5 bbq meal I've ever had. The jalapeno cheddar link packed so much smoke flavor into it - incredible. Brisket was wonderful and consistent across the board.
