It was my first time here, and everything on their menu looked so good that I had a hard time deciding! I actually mispoke and forgot to order another bagel, and the nice girl at the counter was extremely nice and understanding and accommodated me. Great bagels and great customer service! I also got a coffee, and they have oat milk, which is usually more expensive to get with coffee at most coffee shops, but here they don't charge you any extra for that.

Best bagels in Portland! Service is always top notch and consistency is on point. Can always count on Henry Higgins for a good bagel at any of there locations. The owner is local and a wonderful person.

Great bagels! Love the texture and freshness of it all. Seating is limited and orders can take a bit when they're busy, but it's very much got Portland vibes all over it.

I was a bit skeptical walking in here, but the bagels exceeded my expectations. I got a breakfast type sandwich with the jalapeño salt bagel... hot, toasty, cheesy, slightly spicy and salty. It was everything you could want in a bagel. The self serve coffee is also good. More of a grab-and-go place.

Bowery Bagels – A Great Spot for a Quick Bite After an early morning flight from Northern California, I was in need of a solid but simple bite to hold me over until lunch with family. A bagel seemed like the perfect choice, so I stopped into Bowery Bagels in Portland on a quiet Sunday morning. Right away, the place had a welcoming local feel, and the staff was friendly. It wasn’t too busy—just a few people ahead of me—and I got my order quickly. I kept it simple with a classic bagel and cream cheese, and it did not disappoint. Fresh, well-made, and exactly what I needed after traveling. I enjoyed this little spot and their bagels, and I’d definitely stop by again next time I’m in town. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Bowery Bagels is a great choice for a quick and satisfying bite.

Fantastic sausage egg and cheese bagel (real bagels btw)! Water Ave coffee also hits the spot! Garlic herb bagel is very tasty, subtle flavor is perfect!

Best bagel sandwiches in town! Staff is always friendly, service is prompt, the new location looks great! My only gripe is that they close at 1pm which feels like smack dab in the lunch hour, and if you’re in there near 1 they will start putting up chairs, cleaning around you and letting you know they close at 1 so you feel really rushed out when it’s still in the 12:00 hour! I still love it and always recommend it, but would come in more often if it was actually open through a full lunch time.

My ex stepdad used to take me to this one bakery when I was 3-6 and would always get me a toasted cheddar bagel with herb cream cheese and is one of the best memories I have of that man. I have been chasing that flavor that ruined bagels for me for 30 years until I found Sunrise Bagels, a craving that was never satisfied until now. Perfectly spread cream cheese, toasted and warm but still perfectly soft. I will come here until the day I can no longer go.

Extremely bagels at reasonable price. We had the American Bagel Sandwich and totally enjoyed it.
