Had a wonderful dinner on the valentine’s eve. Little gem salad was refreshing and appetizing. Risotto was flavorful and had a nice depth to it. Burger and fries were simple yet very tasteful. Seafood stew was simple yet delightful and I could taste every single ingredient’s texture and flavor. My wife and I were very happy. Our server was also very attentive and graceful. Will absolutely come back another time!
My wife and I dined in during lunch rush the Friday before Christmas weekend. Seated promptly but the food took a while getting out. Our server mentioned a large party just came in before us so the kitchen was backed up. She comped our appetizer just for the long wait. Would gladly return.
Truly delightful. We had no reservations and sat at the bar. The bartender was great. The appetizers and meal were great. Good portions. Good food. Solid pricing. Would definitely go back!

LEFT BANK BRASSERIE REVIEWS
The Left Bank was in Pleasant Hill but left a long time ago. I miss it! After dropping my friend at OAK, I found TLB at Jack London Square. A beautiful location on the water. A gorgeous, well-maintained restaurant. The Cassoulet with a glass of Bordeaux was perfect. Dessert: Cafe Liegeois with extra chocolate sauce, of course, was divine. Manager, bartender, server, busser were all professional and friendly. Recommended!
Had an amazing dinner on opening night with over the top service and delicious food and wine - we didn't leave a single drop or scrap. The escargots were flavorful and balanced with light bread crumbs to collect the yummy sauce. The Duck Confit and Trout Almondine were incredible, both covered in sauces that perfectly balanced sweet, salty, and, tangy flavors. The recommended Bordeaux paired well, and we can't wait to come back!
This location of Left Bank is pretty much like the others, The food is great, the service is smooth, professional and friendly. And the prices are about what you would expect for the area. The French onion soup is delicious, definitely order the bread, it is very good, and we'd love the warm olives. The sliders were surprisingly tasty. And the cocktails were lovely.

La Note is an authentic Provençal restaurant in downtown Berkeley's vibrant heart. The restaurant is situated 5.3 miles from downtown Oakland. The restaurant serves traditional breakfast and lunch bistro fare and rustic Provençal dinners in a warm and charming atmosphere. LA NOTE REVIEWS
I don’t usually do breakfast so the list of places to try is long. Finally got to cross this place off the list in a great way. Must try: “TARTINE” baguette style bread w/ goat cheese & honey. This was the star of the show while the other items didn’t disappoint. That was my first time having goat cheese so it was a shocker as well. There are a lot of great choices on the menu, Home fries (out of this world), fresh squeezed Oj(great stuff), lemon gingerbread pancakes(taste like a cookie out of the oven), scrambled eggs with the roasted tomatoes(out of this world). La Note is a spot that you must try more than once or bring a date and share a few items, too many choices in a good way. *would recommend having reservations as they do fill up. We got lucky as a walk in but wouldn’t desire the table again. Parking: Depending on when you go parking could be difficult. I parked a half a block away on a Saturday morning and it was busy. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but I don’t see kids eating much on this menu. Wheelchair accessibility: I believe you would be ok in regards to accessibility, because this place gets packed and busy I would let them know with your reservation to secure comfort.
Always delicious every time (but be sure to make reservations! Very busy spot.) outdoor patio and indoor seating available. Both of which have a lovely atmosphere. Great omelettes, pastries, coffees, and alcoholic beverages. They have just the right ratio of champagne:juice in their mimosas (in other words.. more champagne than juice!)
The food quality was excellent! I’m the end that is the most important aspect of any restaurant. Service was prompt. I would recommend the hot chocolate. Sooooo good. They did run out of some pastries though, so go early.
