My mother was tired. At 67, she made the quiet decision that it was time to rest. As we began planning her homegoing, my aunt explored several funeral homes and ultimately, we chose Pye Funeral Home. While our first interaction came with a few challenges, the funeral director ultimately handled us with compassion and grace. They provided me with a private viewing—I simply couldn’t bear to watch the casket close on my baby, my mother. When I saw her, she looked absolutely beautiful. Her hair, her makeup—flawless. They treated her with the kind of care and dignity I imagine they would give to one of their own. For that, I am truly grateful. This experience brought me peace during one of the hardest moments of my life.

I have had several of my loved ones including my mother laid to rest here. They do an outstanding job on everything!!!! I especially love the way that they have your loved ones looking 20 to 30 years younger as long as you send a picture, absolutely awesome!!! 5 plus star.

Losing a love one is hard in itself, but Hutchison Funeral Home made the most difficult time for my family a lot easier from start to finish they were there and made us feel like family. The passing of our Mother was and is heavy on our hearts and minds. However, Mr.Jamie made making arrangements for our Mother a truly stress free process. He's very knowledgeable, compassionate & he listenened to all of our questions & concerns & addressed them all to our satisfaction. Mr. Ruffin did a beautiful job dressing our Mother.
