I had a wood-burning fireplace that looked like it had never been cleaned or serviced in its 58 years of usage. My daughter hired Detroit City Sweep to do some work on her two fireplaces, and she highly recommended DCS for my fireplace work. Steve and his team cleaned the chimney, cleaned and painted the box, checked the chimney cap to ensure that it was functional, converted the wood-burner to gas, installed the grate and logs, and installed the mantle and doors. The fireplace looks beautiful and works great -- I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did. Also, Steve, Schanna, Dale, and Dean were very professional, and a pleasure to work with.

I was so blessed with the service I received from the beginning to the completion of the work preformed. Dave the technician was respectful and concerned to explain to me the important of using my fireplace correctly. I really appreciate him and the service that I received.

Would recommend. Nate, Dean and the rest of the crew did a great job. They were thorough, informational and left a clean job behind.

The owner, Jon, earned the trust we put in him and his company by ensuring that his crew did an excellent job completing the replacement of our chimney. His office staff, Mitch, was wonderful at trying to keep us informed of the scheduling. The crew working on the chimney were amazing. They put in long hours in cold and wind to complete the project before the temperatures would fall too low to paint. The chief crew member, Arlean, who is from Jamaica, was always courteous, dedicated and a joy to work with. I would strongly recommend this company for chimney work.
