Good guy. Good doc. Took my concerns seriously and listened to what I told him. Never made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about when it came to my own body. That happens too much with some of these places.

Dr. Goulet has been my gastro guy for some 14 years now. He has performed one or two endocopes and maybe 4 colonoscopies. He is always personable and fun to talk with. But he has a job to do and not a lot of time for unimportant conversations. Some people have complained that he doesn’t spend enough time talking through details. For me, I just want to get on with my life. I think a thumbs up would do fine and maybe to know when I should come back. This time he told my wife I had a couple of polyps but I’m good to go and then rushed off to the hospital for someone who actually had a problem. I would have wanted him to exactly what he did. He needs to screen people but also needs to tend to sick people. Doctors are super overwhelmed and busy in the Treasure Valley (and elsewhere). I’m happy to have truly excellent healthcare. I think many people just don’t know how good they have it and how doctors like Dr. Goulet make the quality of our lives so much better.

Concerned about prior care. 2 doctors said I needed surgery. He said I did not. I am fine. Thankfully, I did not have a surgery.

Dr. Goulet was very personable and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Hammerle is fantastic. He has a great demeanor but also gets straight to the point with a plan. He spends time listening, but he also doesn’t leave you alone to figure it out. He’s present, funny and welcoming. In addition, nobody wants to have a colonoscopy (although everybody should) but he and his team make you feel comfortable and even though I was nervous, they put you at ease, don’t make you feel dumb and get it over with quickly. The office itself is also very responsive to messages and communication which is extremely helpful to patients like me.

Dr. Hammerle and his staff are purely awesome. From check in to leaving, everyone was warm, caring and friendly. Carrie my nurse before going in was so kind and comforting-I don’t like medical stuff and Carrie made me feel so comfortable and calm. Amazing experience.

This was my first procedure with Dr. Hammerle and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I really appreciated his sense of humor and his genuine concern for my wellbeing. He also took the time to explain my test results and address my questions.
