He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, after completing his Internal Medicine training at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. He holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. John E. Poulos has been recognized as a distinguished speaker at national meetings of the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Physicians.
