I’ve been a patient of Dr Haworth for over a year now. The staff are very welcoming, the PA’s are excellent, and Dr Haworth is a professional in every sense. Very caring environment. It sucks having pain but the staff of Cape Fear Neuroscience makes every effort to make the experience as positive as possible.

Dr. Haworth is very thorough with his diagnosis. He is very easy to talk to and explains things clearly. He cares. After my early morning surgery (7am), he came to check on me well after midnight. He performed several procedures on me with excellent results.

The best there is! Dr.Haworth and his whole crew are amazing. I had a spinal fusion 3 weeks ago and they made the whole experience smooth and I’m feeling better than before the surgery.

Dr. Stamates is very compassionate and listens to you in the office. I never felt rushed and all her attention was on me. This was my third spinal surgery and I felt very comfortable and confident that she was going to do a great job and she did. My overall experience from the office to the stay at Cape Fear was excellent. Communication was excellent and any questions or concerns were addressed promptly.

Saw Dr Stamates with serious back pain. I had visited 7 other neurosurgeons and no one would operate. After doing an MRI and checking with my Cardiologist Dr Stamates agreed to do my surgery.It has been two weeks since my surgery and I am so happy she did my surgery. I still have some surgery pain but I feel so much better and I believe my prior back pain is gone. I am so thankful for her and I believe she is a great surgeon. Thank you Dr Stamates.

Dr Stamate's saw me and told me she could fix my back. (I had numerous failed back surgeries). She told the truth, beside muscle spasms here and there, I am 90% better than when I walked into her door. the other 10% is still healing . I would recommend her to anyone.
