Dr. Grunkemeier is an extraordinary provider, who possesses a very unique mix of humility, compassion, warmth, intellect, humor, relatability, positivity, and genuine concern for his patients, all while simultaneously demonstrating his superior knowledge and skill as a physician. His superior diagnostic knowledge (outside of his own speciality) played a key role in a proper medical diagnosis, following 14 years of an exorbitant number of other specialists being left scratching their heads. Dr. Grunkemeier’s ability to properly identify the genetic cause for my illness exponentially improved my quality of life over the last 5-6 years, as it will for the remainder of my life. The wonderfully kind and caring human being he chooses to be has played in key role in seeing me through an extremely difficult year, medically, and otherwise. I am immensely grateful to be fortunate enough to have spent the last 8 years as his patient.

I went from a pediatric gastroenterologist who was trying to pressure my parents into removing part of my colon to having my chrons in full remission with no symptoms. Grunkemeier truly knows his stuff. My life would be so much different without his expertise. I am so fortunate for him. The nurses and staff at this office used to suck, but seems like they hired some good ones recently.

Dr G is a caring, compassionate doctor. Very knowledgeable about hugs craft. Always makes you feel like he’s never rushing. Great eye contact and listers well. Support care team are amazing. The communication is excellent from the sheduler to the triage team. Bravo!.
