“Dr. Vivek Deshmukh received his Doctorate of Medicine with the highest honors from the University of Florida in 1998. He was president of his medical school Honor Society. After finishing fellowships at the Barrow Neurological Institute, he became the cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery director at George Washington University in Washington. He is currently the Director of Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery at the Providence Brain and Spine Institute. He has submitted over 100 publications, oral presentations, and abstract presentations. With his training and extensive experience, Dr.Vivek performs the most complex neurosurgical cases. Dr. Deshmukh is the Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Providence Brain and Spine Institute. He is also a principal investigator in multiple NIH and industry-sponsored clinical trials evaluating cutting-edge techniques in neurosurgery. Currently, he practices at The Oregon Clinic Neurological Surgery, which continuously strives to improve its service to accommodate patients' needs.”
