Dr. Samuel G. Shiley completed his medical degree at the University of California at Irvine and has been in his service for over 20 years. He finished his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Shiley specializes in treating endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsils, and adenoids treatments. He also confers exceptional patient experiences and a supportive workplace for his employees, and he conveniently serves two locations in Portland. Dr. Andrew K. Patel studied at the University of California at Davis, where he was double majored in neurobiology and psychology and obtained his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco. He also completed a one year Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship at New York University. Dr. Patel finished his internship and residency training in Otolaryngology at the University of California at San Diego, and he has conducted research in the treatment of head and neck cancer, tumor biology, head, neck reconstructive surgery, and cancer treatment-related hearing losses. Dr. Patel has been written in multiple peer-reviewed medical journals and had the honor of speaking at symposiums in various countries. He has experience in performing both traditional open and minimally-invasive procedures, including transoral laser microsurgery for head and neck cancer, and he strives to provide the highest quality individualized care for his patients.
