The Thrive classes have been amazing. A great mixture of strength, mobility, cardio and stretching. Rich is patient and kind and works with you on the exercises (all of the trainers are great). There is also a focus on keeping things fresh so new routines and exercises are regularly worked into the rotation. Group size is kept manageable so you get individual focus and attention.
This place is exactly what it needs to be - no frills, just the facility to get in, do the work, and bounce. What makes Colosseum great is its staff. I stopped by the gym for a few days when I was back east visiting family and Emmy at the front desk was patient, friendly and helpful. She helped me get in for a few great workouts while I was traveling, and made the atmosphere welcoming and fun. Def going to stop by again when I’m back in town. Shout out to Coach B (Bianna) as well.
Staff are really great, prices are ridiculous, everyone is so friendly. You can leave your new pair of beats in the bathroom and come the next day in the lost and found box. Had a really great time going there, met some really good people. Planning to go there again, would recommend anyone this gym.

I love going here. I was able to switch my Belleville membership to this location with no problem and now I have access for a two hour parking in the IDT parking lot. I can finally go and workout in peace. The place is spacious and comfortable with everything included. I would recommend this gym to anybody looking for a friendly not over crowded place.

Great gym, excellent machines, temperature, cleanliness and staff. Sometimes the song from the classes are too loud on the workout area, and they should spread more disinfectant and rags around the gym to make it easy clean your machine. But overall this gym is awesome. If I live in Newark, I would select this gym certainly.
I was actually really scared to join but I been going since the start of March and I totally love this gym. The instructors for Zumba are great and their classes really motivate me to go to the gym. They have other classes that are hard but fun and the staff / trainers are friendly and nice. Overall, amazing.
I love this gym. Been a member for years. It upsets me when I see malicious people giving this place a negative review and don’t write the reason. It’s obvious it’s coming from other gyms or just people with grudges. Go see for yourself and make your own judgment.
